he was a human being who took bits of judaism mixed it with the ideas of roman mithraism, he didn't do any miracles really. The whole idea of judging doesn't make any sense the bible before jesus time is full of alot of moral corruption like stoning women, you can find beating kids, you can find cutting hands, you can find ideas which don't work, like killing someone who works on a sunday. Jesus played the same role mithra played in mithraism and the exact role of ra from egypt who is the son of god ressurected, even the symbol was re-used much of jesus teachings are recycled.

As for indian records some buddhists and hindus claim jesus came as a jewish boy to learn india mysticism which can explain the foreign ideas which he is talking about which match krishna or buddha, it could be books were available to the jews back then. Jesus plays an important figure in the history of the romans really and how they used him to grow their empire. The ideas jesus talk about are if analysed not practical for today things like literally turning your cheek it will get you crucified as it did him, it seems it's likely either jesus died on the cross or he survived having only become unconcious. Jesus if he is what the christians say would be the most important human being ever to be born, we would simply have more signs for him all over the world, the romans continued in a fair way with him during his time and after, they didn't see god or miracle of him.

This jewish boy spent alot of time trying to reform judaism for which he was outcasted but his ideas did lead humans great lessons and he would be one of the greatest teachers humans have seen. He does seem like a great guy, someone you could add onto facebook and pm probably play video games over the net with nice dude, but actually being the god, the same god guru nanak is worshipping is troublesome since we don't have enough prophecies for him apart from a small group of guys living in a desert with primitive systems which were nothing when compared to the chinese with.

We do have some understanding that the tribe of jews jesus is born in, we can trace the roots of judaism from grand greek philisophers who were more sophisticated, richer and well off than the jews in the past saw the jews were a tribe of brahmins who originated from india utilise vedic beliefs it seems also being inspired from pagan beliefs as well as zoroastrianism we can trace many jewish words to ancient sanskrit, it is indicated by many linguistic experts hebrew originates from sanskrit. So since jesus is reforming judaism trying to bring back the core of it, from all the numerous libraries of judaism which didn't make it to the bible to be devoid of priest corruption he is bringing back the origins of the indian traditions much of which guru nanak is teaching us, as satguru nanak is giving the original faith of humanity. Christianity is filled with troublesome ideas if we want to compare it we could probably complete the gospel collections using gurbani.

Jesus probably wasn't vegetarian he probably wore a dastar had a big dhari had long hair it was trimmed, he was circumcised since this was a well accepted jewish boy being referred to as rabia a priest, his knowledge of judaism is understood to be great since he can easily debate and defeat grand priests before they have him executed for committing blasphemy.

If jesus received naam he would have been one of the bhagats of bani and a very important one as well, he is stated from the islamic tradition as being a paigambhar we can find several saloks which correspond to one of the gnostic gospels but they were revered by some early muslims which entered the sufi tradition later on such as the gospel of thomas, if you are well versed with gurbani upon reading the gospel of thomas you will see similarites

Not necessarily it doesn't mean ones bani has to be in guru granth sahib ji for one to have realised the lord - that's like saying everyone who received charan amrit from Guru Nanak that wrote some veechar on waheguru their bani would be added in to sri guru granth sahib ji.

http://www.guardians...r what the real

names of their respective kingdoms were.

In his History of the Jews, the Jewish scholar and theologian Flavius Josephus (37 - 100 A.D.), wrote that

the Greek philosopher Aristotle had said: “...These Jews are derived from the Indian

philosophers; they are named by the Indians Calani.”

Clearchus of Soli (a pupil of Aristotle) wrote, “The Jews descend from the philosophers of India.

The philosophers are called in India Calanians and in Syria Jews. The name of their capital

is very difficult to pronounce. It is called ‘Jerusalem.’”

Megasthenes, a Greek historian from Ionia, was sent by the Hellenistic king Seleucus I as an ambassador

to the court of King Chandragupta Maurya in India. His report about the culture, history and religion of

India was the basis of Western knowledge about India and whose accounts are every day acquiring

additional credit from new inquiries, says that the Jews ‘were an Indian tribe or sect called

Kalani...’”

The Magi of Persia in some references are said to have called their religion Kesh-î-Ibrahim. They also

trace their religious books to Abraham, who was believed to have brought them from heaven.

Arabian historians of the past have also contended that Brahma and Abraham, their ancestor, are the

same person. The Persians generally called him Abraham Zeradust. Cyrus considered the religion of the

Jews the same as his own Zoroasterianism. “The Hindoos must have come from Abraham, or the

Israelites from Brahma...” "

Jesus was really a great spiritual soul and we should have total respect for him, and not refer to him as ‘Jewish boy’. He performed miracles and they actually happened because AkaalPurkh sends these souls to put mankind on the right path but their message gets manipulated and people wonder off into wrong directions but that is not the fault of the messenger.

I have heard of a number of incidents where Jesus has appeared to sant/mahapursh and the message from Jesus is always the same . . . . . follow Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
