Recommended Posts

LOL. You've never seen a paneer pizza????

paneer-pizza.jpg

My mum does turhka on noodles. :cool2:

:lol2: :faint:

Round here I only ever seen Tikka this or Tikka that pizza. The Pizza shops are mainly Pakistani owned and dont seem to care for Paneer.

I'm guessing this is a Southall/Brum thing right?

there is paneer pizza, you have paneer on top of the pizza along wiht all the other stuff cheese, spices, etc

TASTE GOOD

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. That is not nice! :ohno:

The tikka paste thing goes into the pizza sauce. :(

How did this go from pizza might not be suitable for gurdware into discussing and sending paneer pizzas to people?

Still uses rennet for cheese production.

Knowing many desi food shop owners, I don't think they'd check where the rennet came from.

Just had a read on Wikipedia and there are a lot of non-animal ways of getting it. One way is Isreali rennet which is kosher :\

You would think Sikh agriculturists/industrialists around the world would have recognised this and set up an industry to produce vegetarian/microbial rennet for use by the Sikh community around the world.

Dont give up on Paneer Pizza yet kids! lol.
