Waheguru ji ka khalsa,

Waheguru ji ki fateh.

Daas is going to take amrit in a week but just wondering if anyone could give tips on how to tie a dastaar for the amrit sanchaar? I believe there should be a "flap"?

Many thanks

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa !!

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh !!

a simple dastar will do , dont tie a dumala . as you need to keep your head open partly to put amrit in your hair.

use a sarbloh kara with FAT lines on it that can be felt and seen easily .

wear a long kurta they will remove your pants/pajama :lol2:

do a full bath including your hair , do not comb them .

yes you can dry them .

wear all 5 K's .

Wear washed clothes .

no dirty clothes

remember ask all rehat maryada questions you have

make sure they panj payaare recite 5 bani's , not like 3 bani's as akal takhat says

after you are done . recite mool mantar till they give you parshad , even if they do not say to recite mool mantar .

Tie a simple dastaar, doesn't have to be huge. make sure you tie ur joora on ur head, no bungas or anything. wrap the dastaar normally around, only cover the top once, dont tuck the covering too much because u have to open it so make it easy.

Thank you so much!
