The Return of the Guru

Fateh jio,

I'm asking that this post/discussion operate under the principle that the future will bring destruction/war and that khalsa raj may happen during this/after this.

Now a lot of the time you here on posts like these the following terms: Kalki Avtar, Nihklank Avtar and etc. do these mean the same thing and what exactly are they, from what I understand they are supposed to the next saviour?

The main question I have is: Saying Guru Ji will take a physical form once again, does that not reduce/ remove Guru Granth Sahib Ji from the position of a Puran Guru?

If Guru ji has to take a physical form because the world/khalsa has strayed too far that means that guru granth sahib ji was not able to save us. If Guru Granth Sahib Ji cannot save us then the following questions arise:

Is the Guru granth sahib ji not a puran guru, not able to do all of the tasks of a physical guru?

-some may say people have strayed too far and that's why a physical form is needed, but then that diminishes the power available of our shabad guru(I.e. not being able to move around/speak without vaak/however you want to phrase it)

If our shabad Guru is incapable, then does that not extend back to the 10 physical gurus including Guru gobind singh ji who proclaimed that the Guru Granth Sahib Ji should lead the Khalsa? and therefore forward as well to any further forms that could come?

If the jot of the guru granth sahib ji is the same jot as all of the other gurus, when the physical form takes shape, will that jot/guruship be passed onto the physical form and then remove the guru granth sahib ji from their takat?

These are just some thoughts that crosses Dass's mind when I here of the return of the Guru's physical form, something being thrown around a lot more these days, by more and more credible sources.

I mean no nindyah by this post! Just sorting out the dilemma that arises within my mind when hearing these statements. This may be a result of my own lack of knowledge as well. If i have said anything to offend please forgive me.

Gurfateh! Khalsa Ji our Guru from the beginning has been Shabad and that Shabad (gonna sound a bit a like NeoJi) took its sargun form from nirgun form. That same Shabad has transcended through the 10 Gurus and given its sargun form by the 10th Guru. It was never a physical body but to remind humanity the importance of being in touch WaheGuru, it came through as physical bodies. This should answer the rest of your questions.

Even if Guru Ji take physical form they would still tell us to bow down to our Eternal Guru because it’s the same light in two different forms. Physical bodies perish but The Word does not. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is a Puran Guru and has been from the beginning!

“but then that diminishes the power available of our Shabad guru(I.e. not being able to move around/speak without vaak/however you want to phrase it)” - It doesn’t diminish the power at all because WE as Sikhs are supposed to learn from it and WE are supposed to practice what’s been handed down to us. Obviously, that has not been the case because if we had practiced and abided by the teachings of our Gurus then collectively we wouldn’t have youth cutting their hair and straying away from Sikhi. Our inspiration/motivation is our Guru and when WE fail, it doesn’t mean that that diminishes the power of our Shabad Guru.

That line of thought that our Guru isn’t capable because we don’t get what we want and we’re always looking for miracles in life- I was in that same line of thought once, hoping for something from outside to just take off and make me realize if there actually is God, but then after few trial and errors I came to the conclusion that it has to be from within and for that to happen we need an aatmik jot to follow which is our Guru.

As far as Khalsa Raj, I would like to hear some thoughts from others on this forum. Muslims consider themselves pure, (Paak). Hindus consider themselves pure. We as Sikhs are called Khalsa so when Guru Sahib said, Raj Karega Khalsa what/who would it be?

Khalsa :- a gurmukh who is pure in thought, speech and deed, above that ਚੀਤੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਨਾਲਿ(consciousness with the Immaculate Lord)

    • Hi All, I havent been on this forum for a while but I thought id give it a try again as it helped me through some rough times earlier in my life. I wanted to seek for guidance on sikhi and marriage ... I noticed a post earlier on sanjog etc. and it got me thinking about my own life and marriage. For context, I have been married 3 years and things are not working out. When we met, I looked in to sanjog alot and it felt like it was written. However, as these years have gone by its become apparent that we no longer align with each other and our marriage is struggling. We dont seem to understand each other and things have fallen apart. We are at a stage now where separation/divorce is looking like the best option. Neither of us are happy and whilst we have tried to work things through in many different ways, after 3 years we have drifted away. What are the sikh views on this? is it written if we decide that we no longer serve each other? or is that a sin and should I continue to work at it? my issue at the moment is that it is draining me. I feel withdrawn from everything due to things going on between us including sikhi and going to the gurdwara.  Breaks my heart to even be writing this but I do think if we are both not happy and cant see a way of being happy then what is the point in continuing? Or should I be continuing and is it paap if we dont honour our laavan? if that is the case, what does sikhi say about marriage? how do I continue knowing everyday I feel the way I do?   Thanks

    • I'll use this place as my spiritual journal so if anyone wants to join then feel free to! I'm not sure if this could be classed as an experience but last week (or 2 weeks ago), I felt my saliva to be sweet however I lost it after a week. I don't really regret it though, if I lost it then it's Hukam Another point, I feel my concentration to be very good for a while, I can focus on the void for a longer period of time than I could before. I also feel a lot more Anand, it's all Guru di kirpa
