Question Regarding Non-Sikh Friends

No Sikhs dont go out of their way to convert people like muslims who must do dawah to non-muslims to get brownie points/rewards from allah like a high pressure sales pitch. However if non-sikh people want to convert or if they want to learn about your religion then thats fine you can guide them on how to become a Sikh.

Idk I tell my bois like rock the dastaar too and they like later, but I'm like it'll look sick now.

But with non-punjabi friends the politics of sikhi are always there as it is similar struggles and sikhi provides divine revelation.

The truth comes to them anyway,

As Guru Har Rai Sahib said that the shabad sticks like honey to the soul, so does the truth and as sikhi is made from dhur ki bani even its discussion is sacred.

You can't convert to Sikhi but I would def. encourage that friend to learn more about it, as they will of course be interested in Sikhi.

After that, it's just one more step to the 96 crore fauj! :p:)
