Waheguru Ji Ka khalsa Waheguru Ji Fateh

I wanted to ask everyone on this forum a hypothetical question. If you had a daughter that came home one day from university and told you that she is in love with a non-Sikh man and they wanted to get married, what will you do?

God forbid that ever happens to any Sikh parent, but say hypothetically a daughter wanted a marry a non-sikh then it would be straight up disownment of her. It is a job of a Sikh parent to teach the importance of Sikhi to their daughters as they are the most vulnerable in this society and modern world. Sikh daughters hold a very special place in raising the next generation of Sikhs if they are allowed to date and marry non-sikhs then they basically slapping your face and rather than being an asset to your family and religion they are someone that drains all the positivity.

So if you are parents of any daughters make sure you treat them with love and care and show them the beauty of Sikh and hardship Sikhs have faced against the other ideological enemies who wish to see our faith wiped out for their own agenda.

Depends who it was, it's easier to deal with it when it's anything apart from a muslim, if it's a muslim your life is ruined you might aswell get extra help to salvage what's left your daughters brainwashed mind and re-evaluate your poor job of an upbringing. You can adjust when it's anything but a muslim (I'm not saying there faith is better in themselves then others, but they actually think they will get 72 virgins after martyrdom). You need to talk about it with your daughter, her future plans, what she wants, what he wants, then tell her to evaluate, you could expose the flaws of the relationship and talk about the future. At a later scale if things go forward talk to the guy, it's up to you if you want to put the fear of god in the guy or just keep awareness of him.
