Why?

3 things are wrong.

1. Immigrant parents constantly telling them not to accept second-best, (Oriental parents are known in America for this, and despite helping their kids it effects their self-esteem).

2. Kids constantly believing in the perfect lifestyle mindset, due to unhealthy influences by the media and specifically children television, (Disney is most guilty for creating the perfect mindset and not settling for anything less).

3. Personal mental problems for the girl, (we don't really know, but the parents had to know if the child was going to do something, and failing their basic responsibility).
