England should give south Asians reparations

Yes the passion is there for all to see and it is channeled in a righteous cause. The auction house was getting hit where it most hurt them in their pocket. I liked that he showed the auctioneers and the buyers that they were not just purchasing items, they were purchasing HIS and every other Sikhs' stolen religious and cultural heirlooms. These stolen heirlooms belonged collectively to HIM and other Sikhs and NOT to the sellers or the buyers. I have to admire this Singh and the other Singh who stopped the  Indian consulate muppet from addressing the congregation at the Shepherd's Bush Gurdwara. Rather than shy away as unfortunately most people do and hope that someone else would take the stand against a wrong they stood up and were counted. 

Also the use of social media and camera phone have pretty much turned the tables on the main stream media and their power to create the narrative that suits their interests. Imagine if he had not shot the video, I am sure the auction house would have called the police and accused him of any manner of anti-social behaviour and the newspapers would have also had headlines like ' Fanatic disrupts auction'. 

my worry is that these ppl wudnt think twice of conducting their shameless auctions behind closed doors and invitation if apne bande protested in the same way again....

some of these historical items are actually affordable to apne at some thousands of pounds...so we aint talking millions or hundreds of thousands...but it comes down to priorities....and thats gotta be the aim for us atm.
