ALL destruction of temples/mosques/Gurdwarey reveal the base nature of the perpetrators , I state the facts as witnessed by the current absence of the monasteries , universities etc after the events . Jains were even attacked by the Brahmins . The Brahmin has the heads up about Guru Sahiban's coming for at least a couple thousand years prior to Guru Nanak Dev ji's prakash, they were informed that this would be the death knell to their influence over the masses and that is why they disliked Guru Sahiban's teachings and followers .

Brahmin used force to KILL monks who were students in the monasteries is this any different to muslim killing hindus ? no still the same violence using pretext of faith. the muslims are more visible to us as their atrocitites are written up and propagated , brahmins ones less so , remember these same guys SERVED the invaders everytime  during their oppression by helping them control the masses through their influence, did any of them try to dissuade or sacrifice themselves to save others ??

The reason there are so few anceint monasteries and temples in India is because of Islamic invaders destroying them. The only ancient temples one can find in India are in the South where Islamic rule had very little impact as compared to the North.

Even during the Islamic invasion of India there were still millions of Buddhists in India. Afghanistan, Sindh was full of Buddhists even according to Muslim historians. Muslim invaders destoyed Nalanda university and from that point there was a sharp decrease of Buddhism in India to the point where it vanished.

Further search on DM Jha, it turns out he is an Islamophile Marxist historian much like Ram Punyani. You should see how these Hindu Marxists try to explain and justify Aurangzeb's persecution of the Sikhs because it doesn't fit there narrative that "benevolent and just" Islamic rulers could do any wrong.

This site has good contemporary info on Auranga's policy towards temples. Including contemporary paintings. How could Punyani ignore them?
