(1) Also about having a hair wash everyday, if the punj piare say you don't have to have a hair wash daily, does that mean you have to have a hair wash everday?

(2) Also you say you don't have to put shampoo on your hair, is acceptable just to wet the back of your head, whilst your hair is in a joora?

Look all around you- nature is green! Go out into the countryside or just the views of the keth in Panjab and you will feel refreshed. this type of green is pleasing to the eye. I think the shade of green that should be avoided is the dark one as on the 'Pak'istan flag....

so im thinking green cause of how muslims use to fight us in wars, and guuru je said dont wear green, so we dont kill a sikh

Totally agree with you here. (6) I can't stand red and would NEVER wear it. My mum has an allergy to it!(not literally)

To answer your 'question', no not really! No clothing is completely natural in that sense. I'm not some 'naturalist' (or whatever they're called) that says lets go around naked- only thats natural! Clothing obviously serves a basic purpose. In light of Gurmat, I also think that baana in 'Khalsa colours' is best. I actually wear blue most of the time...it's my fave colour and sunny yellow! I think you'll agree that bright yellow makes you feel cheerful; :umm:or maybe not- sometimes I get the impression you never take a light-hearted look at things (no offence intended veer ji! ).We live in this world and personally, I love the vitality and inspiration I get and have experienced from Mother Nature! blue helps you concentrate and reminds us of our warrior heritage. Similarly, orange sybolises sacrifice.

i always thought kesri (orange) and blue was our colour but didnt know that certain colours were forbidden by Guru ji themselves.

Can someone provide any reference as to where it says "Red and Green" are forbidden.

Scientifically all colors are from the Radition spectrum, on one side )of the visual) we got red, and oen we got purplish(violet) and Green being neutral (if im not mistaken)

In the entire discussion it has not been made clear by any one as to when and where Guru Sahib prohibited us wearing any specific colours or to say other way round directed the Khalsa Panth only to wear certain specific colours

The statement that just Muslims have opted for green colur we should desist from using it does not seem to carry any rationale. Mohammedans believe in one God, Allah or Khuda does that mean we shpuld not believe in one God or Waheguru or worship HIM only.
