Sher Singh ji is saying that first 5 Guru Sahibaan wore seli topi and Sikhs of Guru Hargobind Sahib also wore seli topi.

History as well as kalgidhar chamatkaar says Guru Sahib tied His half turban on bhai Pheru's head.

It means bhai pheru ji must be wearing a small dastaar on his head on top of which Guru Sahib tied His half turban.

Nihang Sher Singh ji and many present udasis say that all their saints used to wear seli topi.

Bhai Mihan ji was also one of the 6 bakhshishiyan of the udasi order and history says he wore a dastaar.

History also says that Guru Tegh Bahadur ji tied His half turban on the head of bhai mihan which shows bhai mihan used to wear a dastaar and not seli topi. It also proves that Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib used to wear double dastaar.

The Guru gave him half his own turban and the title of Mihan Sahib, and also returned his drum. The mahant of the sect still wears half a turban and his followers are also called Bakhshish sadhus from Bakhsh (the gift of apostleship). They have a dera at Patiala.
