I will be posting the Upishands in English (Sorry if this is in the wrong section) Even though they are not Sikh texts they have lots of Gian and should be studied by Sikhs. In Sant Gurbachn Singh Ji's Teeka of Japji Sahib he quotes them quite often as they are very important for Sikhs. To fully understand the Tika you must read the Upishands. This will not be a Tika just basic Translations. I am mainly making this so we can deepen our understanding of Gurbani. Adhyatma Part 1 (NOT MY TRANSLATIONS PLEASE DON'T THINK IT IS MINE OR PRAISE ME FOR THIS PLEASE) In the cave of the body is eternally set the one unborn. The earth is His body. (Though) moving …

Part 1 I have started reading my english tika by Sant ji and it is very deep. I will quote some parts I really liked. The Importance of Japji Sahib Kavi Santhok Singh Ji says about Japji Sahib In the way a rice husk is useless without a grain of rice, a Sikh is useless without having memorized Japji Sahib. Guru Nanak Dev Ji says to Guru Angad Dev Ji those who recite Japji Sahib with their heart will gain a seat close to me. Guru Ji also says The individual who forgets Jap Ji knowing it divinity is commiting sucide by jumping into the lowest pits of hell When Guru Tegh Bhadur was going to acced to sachkhand he recited Japji Sahib and his head…

Kirpal Singh was born into a Ramgharia family, and from a young age was inspired by his fathers work who was a talented craftsmen. Kirpal Singh was a self taught artist and never went to art school. This is not mine. Found on Damdami Taksal website. Ik 1. He is the only God and his shape is one which has no limits. He is all-pervading. 2. He is God having a real shape. By writing one the Guru showed the real traits of God. 3. He has no caste or creed and is free from such things. 4. He who is immortal. He is one. 5. He is the only conscious object and has the shape of oneness. During Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's travels, he visited Kanshi. At Kanshi there were differences in opinion on the word Onkar. 63 sects of different people where having different opinions on it Sri Guru Nanak Dev resolved these differences by putting One before Onkar.
