I just need to know some basic stuff so I'll ask in point form: 1. Is Sri Guru Granth Sahib the Adi Granth? Or is it all of the the Adi Granth , The Dasam Granth and the Sarbloh Granth combined? 2. Adi Granth is made of of hymns and scriptures from the first 5 gurus? Dasam Granth is all by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji? What about Sarbloh Granth? 3. What is the meaning of Sakhis? baba hari singh ji are now in Leicester for this full week. After their katha they invited me my wife and my 3 month daughter to the house in which they are staying. such is their nimerta that they played with my daughter for ages and on top of that prepared food and served myself and my wife and would not eat until we had finished. After they went on and explained about the lineage of taksal, the sarbloh and dasam granth also. Now you have to admit that is down to earth for a sadhu sant.

WJKK WJKF! Hi to all, i was just contemplating a question and though you guys could help When you go to hell is there a chance to redeem yourself, so eventually you could start the lifecycles again. Also i was told Sikhism beleives in the devil and he too is called Satan, but does anyone know anymore about him. Finally, Rajan told me something ws happening in 2008, does anyone know what that is? Watching Sikh youth show, and nice to hear the stories of people coming closer to becoming amritdhari or praying to God. Sometimes I think to myself, never really had a friend that was similar thinking to me, or understood me. Never met amritdharis before, but from hearing their stories and warm hearted nature I think to myself Kaash - if only it was in my karm too. Then I think if their is a service that our community provides where like minded Sikhs could visit people at home with disabilities or those who are terminally ill that can't go to Gurdwara to benefit from the sangat and of the same age range. But I feel that's so much to ask for and then accept it's not me…

I think we have all come across this quote from Guru Nanak Ji. " If your a Hindu be a good Hindu. if your a Muslim be a good Muslim". But what is the true meaning of this quote? I've heard some say that this means Guru Nanak is saying all religions are good and lead to the same one God for all. Hence there is no need to convert to any religion . Just stay in your own one. But I have also heard alternative meanings for the quote. Some say it means Guru Ji is only saying be the best Hindu and Muslim you can be. Ie. follow your own religion correctly and not the first meaning I gave. So which is it?

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
