vjkk vjkf OK, In case I got anyone hopes up, I'm sorry!!!!!! But I told my nephews about it a few years ago and they reminded me about it today and I was just wondering...whats going on? Now that the websites down as well there's no way of contacting those in charge either.... So if anyone has info, or knows the gursikhs working on the project could you please request an update. I understand that they are all working on this during their spare time but its been a while and they've gone MIA so if they've scrapped the project or something it would be nice to know. vjkk vjkf

The British Sikh Student Federation would like to address the issue of Sikh/Punjabi Students who have came from Punjab being "banned" for taking part in the Langar at a number of Gurdwaras across the UK. Woolwich Singh Sabha is a Gurdwara which the Federation have received information regarding this bazaar move of the Gurdwara committees. Southall Singh Sabha has come out in the media to say that it can help with food but not provide accommodation. How can a Gurdwara committee ban Sangat from taking part in langar? If you do not have a few pounds in your pocket are you supposed to miss the langar or go back home to get the money? The main reason for this increase is…

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Thank you very much for replying yo my previous questions, now I have some more  1. I read that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was God in human form, and so was the other Gurus aswell. Is that true ? 2. Did the Gurus have any direct contact/communication with God ? 3. What does Sikhi say about other religions, reincarnation wise. 4. Where did the Gurus get the tenants of Sikhi ? 5. What makes Sikhi the correct path ? Thank you very much for all the help given on this forum, you are helping me, a Sikh, have better understanding on our religion. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Fateh, Any updates on the Ragi Darshan Singh Situation? A government tactic is being used regarding the astutosh situation to take singhs away from akaal takht sahib dasm morcha. I received a txt saying 4 singhs have been shaheed in ludhiana - is this correct? any updates? There seems to be a media bias or stuff isnt being covered at the moment. Where are all the ''Defenders of the faith'' - too busy releasing videos on babu mann?

As pointed out in another thread, the Ragi (Darshan Singh) is trying to have Youtube ban videos which portray him in a bad light. He is using the patently medacious claims of copyright even on videos that he has absolutely no right to (such as JUS TV clips). So, before he succeeds in his nefarious plan to clamp down discussion, let's download these videos, show them to other Sikhs on our phones, and also post them to other video sites. Downloading YouTube videos 1. Go to getvideomp3.com at this link: http://www.getvideomp3.com/ 2. Enter the Youtube video link. Like 3. Click Download. 4. Click "Get MP4" 5. Save the file somewhere on your computer. Play the vide…

Why every few years someone in the garb Sikhi rakes up an unnecessary issue and creates ruffles in the panthic circles? It was Kala Afghana some years ago, followed by Spokesman and Now Ragi Darshan Singh. Bhai Sahib analysis the modus operandi of these individuals; how they play with the emotions of a lay Sikh and try…

Darshan singh is on record of not only passing blasphemic remarks for tenth master but also having disowned banis of nitnem, ardas and Amrit sanchar .But his silly followers that include one ex general secretary of Akali dal ( Amritsar) wrote an article in World sikh news praising heretic ragi. Instead of appreciating efforts of Gurucharanjit singh ji Lamba for catching Ragi Darshan singh on his concocted tales against Guru Gobind singh ji and his bani, this pseudo khalistani balmed him for being a RSS agent. This was the worst case of yellow journalism. Those who have read Dasam Granth know that dasam granth is the only sikh scripture that rejects Hindu avtars and idol w…

Cant remember the last time anyone in my family had dastar bandi ceremony. For me it is a memorable time in any young boy's life. When i tied my dastar, my parents and couple of relatives in uk just did ardas at home and i tied my first dastar. i have two nephews who i think should be tying dastars soon one is 11 and the other is 9. But they are in india and teens there seems to wear patka until they are adults nowdays. So question is, do people still celebrate dastar bandi ceremony? Has this practise become less frequent in sikh families? I will be asking my sister when they are doing it cos i would happily fly back to india to tie a dastar on my nephews head. Also if…

Nice to read that this killers liberty to travel anywhere in the world has been partially curtailed. Lets hope our brothers and sisters in USA, Canada and other parts of Europe can follow this example and put pressure on this dirty lowlife to be denied entry to their countries. If there are any people who suffered in the 84 genocide and are now USA citizens then please look at the possibility of bringing legal action against the Indian state and for their assets to be seized. Similar legal action has been enacted against Libya by US citizens. http://www.emgonline.co.uk/news.php?news=8150 Fri, Dec 04, 2009 10:46:31 Murderer of Sikhs stopped from entering Britain, MP t…
