me and this girl like each other and potentially want to get married if things go to plan and it feels right. However her mom has said she will not allow it because my grandmother and her nani are from the same pind. However they are different surnames and everything. I don't see why this would be a problem at all?

Singhnis Sovereignty by Singhni Miripiri Contents Singhnis Sovereignty Mens oppression Control and roles Mere objects Saints Womens status Panj Pyare Durga Non-married and married singhnia Vaheguru and Saachkhand Conclusion From the very beginning, women have been oppressed by men and it is continuously disguised till today where women are living as a slave race within every culture, race, in both human and animal kingdoms. Even the false singhs of today blindly have taken the mind of a mere animal and oppress woman in ways that have become morally acceptable and custom. Whatever I continue to write is what Vaheguru has communicated to me. No one here is ab…

Sikhi's View On Non Sikhs
by Guest prabh_singh- 2 replies

WJKK WJKF I have been wondering lately that there are millions of people on this earth that don't follow Sikhism and many people don't know a thing about sikhism. My question is what does sikhi say about people who don't follow sikhism? I know we believe all religions are equal and we should respect each others religions. But in Sikhi, we try to be one with vahiguru and jap his name and gain mukti and "chutkara" from reincarnation, so what happens to the other millions of people on the earth, none of them get mukti? What does SGGS and the Guru's say about them and this? Bhul Chuk Maaf.

Beard (Grow Again)
by Guest Realise- 4 replies

I cut my beard a few months ago and now realise I made the wrong decision. It was 7 inches long and had good even growth. I want to grow it back but I am not sure if it is going to grow back the same way. Can anyone tell me if it will grow back to the same length and in the same texture/strength it was before? And how long will it take to reach its previous length (full capability)? I realise I made a mistake and want to fix it. Thanks

hi me and my friend were randomly talking about punjab and than conversation switched to bhindrawale/khalistan movement. He is telling me that sant ji was a congress agent sent by indra gandhi to go against the akali's but than he turned on her thus leading to 1984 is this true?? He also said that uneducated pendu's supported bhindrawale and no one in the cities did and he also said everyone in india knows he was a congress agent??

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh A few days back my uncle committed suicide and it has left all family in shock. He was a good man not a drinker no money problems no gambling etc. this is very shocking and surprising for us and many people are saying he was selfish because he also had two children and a wife. I am looking for answers for opinion on suicide in sikhi as I know in Christian they say he will go to hell narak forever and in Muslim they do not even say prayer at funeral and say that he will also go to hell. In Hindusm they say suiciders become a ghost. What is view in Sikhi please tell me I am very concerned why Waheguru would let something like th…

Whats The Point Of Keeping Your Hair Long? 1 2 3
by Guest SikhQuestions- 29 replies

As a Sikh can understand if this question angers you, and I do not want to cause any disrespect to anyone or their ideals. That being said however, as I have grown and developed my own understanding of Sikhism, and tried to embrace its principles, I can't find a good answer to this question. For the sake of complete clarity, the reason I am asking these questions is because I am thinking of cutting my hair, and would like to know if there is any reason to keep it. If the reason is because "god" wants us to do so, well that seems very contradictory to Sikhism and its definition of god. I thought god was an indescribable being with no emotion and no love or hate. He wants …
