Gurfateh to all. I am sorry if this comes across as negative, but I would really like to know if there are others that feel the same. Firstly, I myself am a bana wearing, rehat following amritdhari so I don't have any negative intentions behind this topic. I just feel these days that gursikhs are extremely into showing off and using Sikhi as a way to feel better about themselves and show off. someone emailed me this: what should they do? I need some advice. basically my grandfather is amritdhari and has parkash of guru sahib in a room in his house. the thing is that in the same house lives his son (his son's newly married wife has just moved there aswell) and he eats meat and drinks alcohol. they keep the meat and alcohol in the house. guru sahib has been parkash there for i think over 20 years, and his son has always been drinking sharaab and meat eating. I know that my grandad does not see it as beadbi from some of the things he has said. I also know that the son will never give up alcohol and meat - he is a total atheist and very gorafied. Basically I have always had very weak muscles. When I touch my arm it is completely soft all over. You can so no muscle when I 'flex' them. I tried to start some dumbbell curls today. I am struggling with 5kg, my right arm can just about do it my left arm I can't do without moving my elbow and using all of my arm to lift. My diet is not great, literally just roti sabji, sandwiches and bread (some fruit). I am really concerned by how weak my muscles are. What can I do? Should I take some protein supplements, like powder? I have tried eating more protein in my diet before but its never helped. What is creatine?

This may be a stupid question but little things worry me. There is vodka in a good face scrub I've bought... its okay to use right? its not like I'm eating the scrub. More pressing is my concern that soon I'm moving into a house with Maharaj in it. It should be fine right? It's not drinking alcohol.

i know there are sakhia of gursikhs who guru sahib gave hukam for whatever reason to go away from sangat, eg. i think there was a sakhi where bhai gurdas ji was sent somewhere far, and also the sakhi behind shabad hazare. Can you please post sakhia like that of gursikhs who had vichora from sangat and guru sahib. Also sakhia of gursikhs that begged guru sahib to come to them, eg. sakhi of blind gursikh and sakhi of the bibi ji who made food for guru hargobind sahib ji. I'll post the ones i can find as replies, other please post any that you know. Even modern day sakhis of gursikhs having to live gursikhi on their own. Thanks.

I have recently been blessed with amrit for a month, but in that month i have master baited twice. I do simran and nitnem everyday, and follow rehat. I do sports and keep my self busy with activities but then on days I am not doing anything and home alone, I get random urges to do it. I do ardaas everyday to stop my kaam, but its not working. I know this topic has been posted many times but what do u say about an amritdhari sikh doing it.?

I recently got my activa (vehicle) stolen. then i lost my purse with lots of money and important documents, then again today i lost more money. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
