Afghan eyewitness account of Baba Deep Singh Ji
by Guest DumbIdiotBanda- 1 follower

VJKK VJKF I heard there was an eyewitness account of Baba Deep Singh Ji slaying papis from an afghan soldier complaining to his king that we can kill the Singhs that are alive, but not those who are dead. The name attributed to this work is "Tehmas Khan". Does anyone know what language that book is in? Does it even exist? Where could I find a copy? It seems a little suspicious that an afghan would record an event like this. Thanks.

Spring Cleaning – Gurudwara Management Committees

Spring Cleaning – Gurudwara Management Committees April 23rd, 2012 Guru Piarey Jio, In Asa di vaar, Guru teaches that Haumai is our most severe illness and yet its cure lies within it. Earning (practicing and experiencing) Guru ji’s teachings and Vaheguru’s grace, are the transformational tool to make our self-serving ‘ego’ into the ‘Gurmukh’, a Guru orientated ‘self’ that is attuned to the Name of our beloved. This analysis reinvigorates us to tackle Haumai, seeing it anew as a curable disease. It is also our considered opinion that at a global level, the Gurudwaras and our internal squabbles are our most severe enemies and similarly, the cure is within their trans…

I Want To Wear A Dastar
by Guest :(- 8 replies

What do you do when you want to wear a dastaar but your mum doesn't? Both my parents are Amrit-dhari but mum doesn't wear a dastar (please dont make this a debate about which amrit is better now). I dont want it to seem as though I'm telling her she's wrong (indirectly) by wearing a dastar once I take Amrit. My mum's a very strong person who's always wanting the best for me and usually makes a lot of the big decisions for me too. Now if I take Amrit and wear a dastar, she will without a doubt feel as though she's doing something wrong or I'm too religious  and I don't want to hurt her feelings. I haven't discussed this ambition with her because I'm still trying …

It came on the Sikh Channel the other day. Think it was recorded from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Thank you kindly for your help. Waheguru Je Ka Khalsa Waheguru Je Ke Fateh.

Marriage

Gurfateh ji. I need some advice. I'm at marriageable age. Relatives and friends are on the look out. I know dating is out of the question, but I was just wondering suppose you tried to find your own potential partner, as in get to know each other by talking, going out on small trips etc. Wouldn't we be doing the sane thing anyway if somebody suggests a potential marriage partner? As long as there is no bf gf relationship going on and developing, if it's all kept neutral is it ok to sort of keep a look out for your self too? So for example if I was to see someone and if i thought to myself I would like to get to know them. If we started to meet and get to know e…
