Singhs being not being truthful (edited)

VJKK VJKF Some Singh's affiliated with Sikh Youth have been targeting our own within the community who do not agree with their thuggish behaviour through violence, threats and intimidation. This includes punching a sewadar in the stomach and hitting a singh over the head with a kara. Someone called *EDITED* from Bedfordshire made a complaint to the police over their actions and a few of them were arrested a few days ago for criminal acts. *EDITED* and his friends under the pseudo account 'Raids Org UK' have put out false information making it out that they are being targeted by anti terrorist police for their support for Khalistan sangarsh. They have even used old v…

How do u deal with all fake you see and know in Gurdwaras? Im finding it hard to accept and do nothing. But everyone is so clueless and dont see whats going on. Like mens and women who are at forefront, acting all religious, organising camps and programs. They do kurehits and all sorts of things, im talking from what ive seen with my oen eyes. But the youth are so brainwashed and think these ppl r so holy, the sangat thinks they are so religious. Then how will panth progress when these sort of ppl r leading the gurdwara. Commmittee issues is one thing, now theres so such pakhand in the organisers who were once forefront youth n growing old but turns out they arent the a…

Singhs Who Treat Kaurs Like Anything But Princesses 1 2 3 4

Singhs Who Treat Kaurs Like Anything But Princesses During a Sikh camp a Singhni approached an older Gursikh who had a white flowing beard. She asked him if they could talk in private for a moment. They moved to a corridor just outside a hall, which contained the rest of the campers. She pointed out a young man, dressed in Khalsa blue from his Dastaar to his Chola. He looked beautiful in his bana and his face was radiant. “Do you see him?” asked the Singhni. “Yes I see him,” replied the Gursikh. “I’ve been seeing him for a while now, but last night he beat me up,” said the Singhni. Quite rightly there is much awareness about our Sisters waking up and staying alert …

I'm a very simple, shy girl. I am not a strict Sikh but I believe in and trust Waheguru. Im turning 30 this year and I want to find the right man to share my life with and start a family with. I never dated and I've always been socially shy. I dont have any friends or family who I can rely on to arrange a rishta for me. The loneliness never affected me before but I am feeling it now. I have tried online dating and met a few guys. But they all lose interest in me because going out partying and drinking isn't my cup of tea. I feel lost and I dont know where to meet my partner. I am afraid I will be alone forever.

Hi I am in a similar situation myself, similar age and I've found it difficult to find the right guy, mainly because of morals. AIso, I went through a few periods in my life with family etc which made me lose my self confidence and I became basically the opposite of how I used to be. Get your confidence and self belief back, we are Sikhnis of the Guru, there's no time or need to be shy in this world, love and respect yourself, you're great as you are. Try and read the book, the Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine N Aaron, I've just started reading it. I bet you're kind hearted and a good soul, and people like that are rare in this world. …

Sins

Greetings I am an 18 yr old Sikh. I have not been a religious person; however, I have attended Gurdwara, Sikh camps, etc, because of my parents desire. I have come to a point in my life where I realize the importance of following Guru's guidance. I do have one question about sins. I have committed sins in my past and am trying now to stop and control myself and my behavior. I know in Christianity, one prays for forgiveness. Is this the same in Sikhism? Thank you for responding to my question, Amarpreet Singh

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh The bellow is a post from a Kaur on another forum, and I would really appreciate if the Sangat on here especially Kaurs could help her. Link to orginal All posts on here will be copied and pasted. Thanks in advance Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. I’m a sikh girl currently in my teen years attending high school and have been facing so many issues with my family and have become fed up with it. I come from a family of 4 daughters and my parents have always wanted a son as long as i can remember. They always remind me of how i’m a girl and shouldn’t being doing certain things. I was okay with it because I unders…
