If you want to practice your Gurmukhi reading and Panjabi, get the novel and read long with this maybe? I'll try and find a link to the book and post it later.

Has no one noticed this? Or am I hallucinating? Sikh youth usually try to emulate black culture while Hindus try to emulate white culture. I've totally noticed this and I feel a bit sad because cultures like that go nowhere. East Asian people try to emulate white culture, or at least respect it. Meanwhile, no offence, but generally communities with a lot of issues and low aspirations emulate black culture. All of our children are listening to horrendous rap songs and thugging it out on the streets (or at least attempting to). It is similar to how Arabs in European countries emulate black culture (notably, France) as well as Latinos in the US and whatnot... it doesn't hel…

Not the type of stuff I'd normally post but what do people think about the ideas of the difference between raising boys compared to girls alluded to by the author? SARAH VINE: With a boy and a girl, it's a perfect pair... but now Boris and Carrie will find 1+1 adds up to about twenty! Politics is tough on families. This was underlined when, in the midst of all the hysteria surrounding party-gate, the Prime Minister’s wife Carrie Johnson quietly – and rather efficiently – walked into a central London hospital and gave birth to a baby girl. Just a few hours earlier, her husband Boris Johnson had been up on his feet in the House of Commons fending …

If we look at Sikh Rehat 2 things should be noted. First, no alcohol allowed. Second, 4 kakkar are not allowed to leave the body, even for a second! Let's just say the Gurus decided and gave a figure. We're allowed to consume half a glass (e.g. 250ml) of beer once a week, containing no more than 5% in alc volume. And four kakkars, let's assume Dasah Patsha stated "Four can be parted from you at a distance of 1.5 meters." Now today, we can guess why the measurement are absolute zero. The rehat states ZERO TOLERANCE! The alcohol consumption would have been edited to "5 glass per seven days it's ok to get tipsy, Thas what Maharaj is saying" and departure from kak…
