Amritsar, Punjab: Approval of changes in the Nanakshahi calendar by the Akal Takht, has expressed the hope that the changed calendar will work as a “catalyst for unity among the Sikhs. These changes will be implemented from March 14, 2010. A Delhi Court on Saturday cleared the way for initiation of criminal proceedings against Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in another case relating to the 1984 anti-Sikh riot. The court rejected the Delhi police's plea to club the case involving Kumar with the ongoing trial in another case. The court allowed an application filed by Special Public Prosecutor stating that the chargesheet prepared against Kumar in 1992 cannot be clubbed with another case on which trial was already on.A chargesheet in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case citing sufficient evidence to proceed against Kumar was prepared in 1992 but was never brought before a judge for prosecution.

New customs form for arriving in India from January 1 Press Trust of India | Updated On: December 31, 2013 16:44 (IST) New Delhi: All passengers coming to India will have to fill in a new detailed customs form on their arrival from Wednesday, January 1, 2014, according to official sources. New Delhi Municipal Corporation has raised an objection on 1984 Sikh Genocide Memorial inside Rakab Ganj Gurdwara. The corporation pasted a notice on Gurdwara complex gate opposite parliament house objecting over 4 feet high brick platform constructed to be unveiled on June 12 as foundation stone of the memorial. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
