What are these eyes? Where they go when I am to die? I long for my Guru, these eyes desire to see Him, Amrit has begun to fill this body cup to it's brim. I will go crazy, insane, become widowed without my Lord, I would take off my head with my own sword. I'd pull out these eyes and place them at His feet, I must know that I will have to depart from this seat. O my Guru, give me them eyes which only see you and nothing else, I do not long for others, nor for wealth. I've seen that it's so temporary. All an illusion, Eating up the world, leaving us in confusion. May your name be on my lips, From the Amrit bata, I now take sips. My eyes have stopped seeing, I've gone blind, Blind to Maya, thank God, your so kind. Guru has pulled me out, holding on to my kes, I just pray to be at His feet, forever with a place. O my eyes, realise that this is all dust and dirt, Don't leave Him, attached to Mata you will eventually be hurt. O my Lord, I am so happy, I've seen the unseeable, I didn't know that I was capable. going thru gut-wrenching feeling and heart sinks jado soochda kih mera anmol manukhi janam hatho(hands) khisk rehaya and doing nothing about it.... too lazy to be religious active but at the same time hella scared picturing myself facing dharam raj.. need to be serious as like 35 to 40% of my life term is already wasted doing not too much.. What a wonderful poem about Siri Guru Gobind Singh jee, by Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee. This is my favourite poem of Bhai Sahib. It talks in detail about the Mukh (face) of Guru Sahib and the description is so vivid that it can't be a product of mere imagination but has sprung from real Darshan of Siri Guru jee. Bhai Sahib has mentioned that Guru Sahib's Rukhsaar (face) is glowing and red in colour. Around the Red glowing face, is Black beard like dark clouds around moon. On one of Guru Sahib's cheeks, is a beautiful Black til (mole) and it greatly enhances Guru Sahib's beauty. Vaah, what a great choice of words Bhai Sahib has chosen to describe Guru Sahib's beautiful face. Just Amazing! ਤੇਰੇ ਲਾਲ ਮੁਖਾਲ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸੋਹੇ ਕਾਲ ਨਾਗ ਜ਼ੁਲਫਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (Around your glowing Rosy face is Black beard that resembles Black Cobra.) The use of word ਕਾਲ ਨਾਗ (Black Cobra) for Guru Sahib's beard is to show Kataakhya (don't know English word). Lovers are known to describe the beauty of their beloved ones using such words as Eyes like sharp Dagger, killer lips etc. It is because the these characteristics of their beloved one indeed have a killer effect on them. Zuflaala means Zulf i.e. hair. ਤੇਰੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਫ ਨਾਗ ਦੁਇ ਕਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਰਾਲੇ ਮੁਖ ਸੁਰਖਾਲਾ ਜੀ। Between your Cobra-like Zulf (beard) is your Surkh (Rosy) Mukh (face). ਤੇਰੇ ਸੁਰਖ ਰੰਗ ਰੁਖਸਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਖਾਲ ਫਬੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (In the middle of your Rosy Cheek is a Beautiful Black Til (mole)). ਤੇਰੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕੀ ਕਾਲੇ ਖਾਲ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਖਿੜਿਆ ਬਾਗ਼ ਫੁਲਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (Around your black mole is blossomed garden of hair.) ਤੇਰੇ ਫੁਲ ਗੁਲਾਬੀ ਚੇਹਰੇ ਦੇ ਚੌਫੇਰੇ ਘਨਾਂ ਘਟਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (Around your face that is like a Rose flower, beard is thick and Black in colour). ਇਸ ਘਨ-ਘਨ ਸਿਆਮ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਲਿਸ਼ਕੇ ਬੀਜਲ ਚੰਦ ਮੁਖਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (Your face, in-between the dark and thick clouds of beard, shines like lightening). Bhai Sahib's description of Guru Sahib's beauty reminds one of the style of Bhai Nandlal jee who has called Guru Sahib's beautiful face "Pari Rukhsaar" which means face like a fairy. The last lines leading up to the Kalgi of Guru Sahib are extremely beautiful. It is impossible to translate these lines even in Punjabi, let alone English. Below is a humble attempt at translating just the gist of Bhai Sahib's lines. Exact translation is beyond the capability of this humble Daas. ਇਸ ਨੂਰ ਨੁਰਾਲੇ ਮੁਖ ਸਿਖਰਾਲੇ ਸੀਸ ਨੂਰ ਕੇਸਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (On the top of the Noori (illuminated) Face of Guru Sahib, are Noori Kesh of Guru Sahib) ਇਸ ਨੂਰੀ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੀਸ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਨੂਰ ਦਮਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (Around the head with Noori Kesh, there is Noori Dumaala) ਇਸ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਲਾਲੇ ਦਮਕ ਦਮਾਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਨੂਰ ਨਿਰਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (Around the illuminated beautiful Jalaali Dumaala of Guru Sahib is special and unique mystical Noor (of Jyot). ਹੈ ਜੋਤਿ ਦਾਮਨੀ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਮਣੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੜਤਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (This Jyot is like lightening and like Sudarshan Chakra and is coming from jyot-mai Mani (jewel) on Dastaar) ਮਣਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੜਾਲੇ, ਚਕ੍ਰ ਨਾਲੇ ਜਗਮਗ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਿਗਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (on Dastaar is the Jyot-mai Mani and shining Chakra that too is illuminated with Jyot) ਇਸ ਜਿਗਾ ਜਗਮਗੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਮਾਲੋਂ ਜਗੇ ਨਵੀਨ ਜਲਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (This shining beautiful Jyot that is coming from the jewel on Dastaar, it has ever-new Jalaal (beauty, effect). ਇਸ ਨਵ ਜਲਾਲ ਦੀ ਲਸ਼ਕ ਲਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਅਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋੜ ਉਜਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (The reflection of this Jalaal (of that jewel on the Dastaar) is very bright and it has light extending up to sky). ਜਦ ਨੀਝ ਲਾਇ ਦੇਖਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਕਲਗੀ ਦਾ ਝਲਕਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (When I look at the source of this light, I realize that this Jyotmai bright light is actually coming from Guru Sahib's Kalgi) ਇਹ ਬੁਕਾ ਨੂਰ ਜ਼ਹੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਕਲਗੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੀ। (This is what lightening Noori Darshan of my Kalgianwale Satguru jee is) Vaah! Think Deeply:- Similar to how a jungle is full of trees and wild animals the body is a comparable form full of the five evils: lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego. Or the body is an establishment where filth is contained. It is a house full of pain and diseases. This body (and mind) has been taken in charge by the three demons, which are desire, worries and hopes/ expectations. This body is full of corruption, diseases (suffering) and afflictions; from the very beginning it is affected by these three miseries. ਆਧਿ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਉਪਾਧਿ ਰਸ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਤੂਟੈ ਤਾਪ ॥ aadhh biaadhh oupaadhh ras kabahu n thoottai thaap || Their minds and bodies are distracted by pleasure and pain, and their fever never departs. The root of corruption of the body is due to the five main problems that are word, pleasure, senses, form and filth. Lack of knowledge, mood, helplessness, changing of form/body and ਦ੍ਵੈਸ਼ (dislikeness?) are the five sorrows that remain in charge of the body. While pleasure or pain remain attached to this body like they have become close friends. So to be egotistical/proud of this wretchedness and painful form and filthy body is an act of stupidity. Two Types of Knowledge ਪਰੋਖਸ਼ ਗਿਆਨ (Proksh knowledge) or ਅਪਰੋਖਸ਼ ਗਿਆਨ (aproksh knowledge) are the two types of knowledge in life. ਪਰੋਖਸ਼ ਗਿਆਨ (Proksh knowledge)- To see and believe that everything is waheguru. The physical body made of the five elements or the astral body (the body you perceive in your dreams) is all waheguru. Without God there is nothing at all. This knowledge dissolves all the false notions, which are perceived by one ਅਪਰੋਖਸ਼ ਗਿਆਨ (Aproksh knowledge) – Throwing away the veil of illusion of I (the body & mind), reality is seen where everything is God and without him there is nothing. My true self is him (god) but in reality I am everything. Without me there is nothing at all. ਕਬੀਰ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਖੋਜਤੇ ਪਾਇਓ ਸੋਈ ਠਉਰੁ ॥ kabeer jaa ko khojathae paaeiou soee t(h)our || Kabeer, you have found that place which you were seeking. ਸੋਈ ਫਿਰਿ ਕੈ ਤੂ ਭਇਆ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਕਹਤਾ ਅਉਰੁ ॥੮੭॥ soee fir kai thoo bhaeiaa jaa ko kehathaa aour ||87|| You have become that which you thought was separate from yourself. ||87|| (1369) ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੂਰਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਤੂੰ ਹੈ ॥ so prabh dhoor naahee prabh thoo hai || God is not far away - O God, You are right here. (ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ - ੩੫੪) But I am not the body. My True self is forever existing, pure consciousness/ awareness, bliss, pure without any blemishes, formless and thoughtless. I agree with what your saying. We do need to develop critical thinking. But I did not say you don't need to work, i said we don't need to get a slave job. The whole monetary system is based on slavery. But that doesn't mean you need to be some yogi meditating in the mountains, i never said that. I have not just "read into theories", i've done some extensive research. I know how much i don't know. But there are somethings i have found to be objective fact. Like the FACT 9/11 was an inside job. Theories are theories, the media can tell lies, but then there is the objective truth, which in some cases i have found. I completely agree. So you must not of understand where im coming from. That just goes to show, how your perceptions have been shaped in a certain way. Because you are making a joke out of it. And you are saying to be open minded? That just proves my point, if they don't have the opportunity it is because the system is based on scarcity, even though there is enough for everyone people don't get the chance. That is completely stupid. People become lazy, because they believe they don't have any opportunities. This is partly true like i said before, for example if a 1000 people want to be an astranaut only 50 people get the chance, that means 950 don't get to live their dreams. So no wonder they become lazy, who wants to sit behind a desk all day? or who wants to be moving boxes around, we didn't come here to do that crap. We have the secrets of the universe in our hearts. I bet there would be no lazy people, if everyone was given an opportunity to follow there dream. Like if someone wanted to be fireman, and they were given the chance to become that, i bet they would lose all their lazyness in an instant and work hard. But it is because this system we live in does not allow us to do that. Ultimately everything that is happened to us is a result of our previous actions though, and from previous lives. Therefore we have all been guilty of being, stupid and lazy. Otherwise we would be in spiritually high places right now. Because we don't know how to grow our own food, or get our own power, hence we become dependent on the government and big corporations, for our electrcity, food etc. Which is all been ripped off, and poisoned. Hence we are slaves. People work (for money) because they are scared. The whole system is based on fear. Thats why we need to get back to God. Who can show us the true way of living. All this suffering is ultimately our own fault, therefore we are responsible, so we must change ourselves to be able to change the world.

my grandmother had this experience when she was 12 years old, She described the yamdoot as dark with long nails and sharp teeth holding her very tightly. She also told how she couldnt speak but kept trying to shout at them to let her go. She was walking with them for a long time over green fields, eventually being told that the Yamdoots had brought the wrong "pooro" (my grans name) and was released. At that time she woke and her fmaily were preparing for her funeral. Then the family heard a few days later that a pooro in a neighbouring village had died in young age. Giani Thakur Singh also says that according to the life of a Sikh, etc if he is a good Sikh, a Singh will come to get him, not yamdoot. For Sikhs of high avastha, 5 Singhs will come to get them.

All you need is the right Sangat. Pray for it, you'll find it.

I find that Giani Takhur Singh Ji has this brilliant talent for adding a bit of humour into his Katha, at exactly the right time! It's so subtle, but so funny. Giani Ji is very deep and knowledgeable but also understands that the general public (like me) need a bit of humour to give us a mental break and keep us interested. The other 'gem' from Giani Takhur Singh Ji's Katha of Japji Sahib Ji is the Saki about greed. It's the one about the man who's told that if he goes so deep into the jungle he will find a pressure material, but not to go any further. The man's greed makes him go further and further, it's a great ending... this is Giani Takhur singh Ji's humour at it's best !!!

I said in another thread they put uranium in our water, that includes America, and the UK. And many other parts of the world. But it has been proven that when you think postive thoughts around water, it changes its crystal structure. So if you think of Waheguru before you use water, it will help purify it. Sikhri, PDL, Sojhi, Fateh and many other catchy names such as "Saanj" "Jago Miami" operates or affiliated with one man who is gp singh who pays and controls the whole structure according to his organization manmat. Harinder & his wife are just working under gp singh for more than a 15 years. During late 90's they were only known as FATEH and they used to do camps around US. I was one of their local counselor and they used to come to my town and hold a weekend camp every year. I worked with them for 2 to 3 years. They are very energetic and they got some truly dedicated youngsters who are willing to complete their mission. However these youngs coounselors are not in sikhi (hair cut, meat, dating etc) and fateh/sikhri tells them they are Their only mistake is that they allow and encourage to do some nonsense stuff such as allowing to eat meat at camps and telling kids that its alright. I was young and didn't know what is wrong or right but being strictly vegetarian I started to feel bit awkward. Later on they started teaching more stupid stuff such as "Baba Deep Singh jees died because of small cut on his neck" and then they started changing ardas in diwan hall. Parents starting to worry about this and huge campaign raised against them. One time, i was with them when they were bringing guru sahib jee to diwan hall. They were bringing guru sahib jee in old roller suitcase and they are still doing that in some camps recently i heard. Later our town sangat told them not to come over ever again after they refused to change their style. Point is that they do not know much about sikhi and misleading youngsters by their bookish knowledge written by atheist type people.

The Sojhi syllabus should be recalled” said a parent, Rajendar Singh Fremont, California, USA - University of California, Berkeley students, alumni and Sikh community members questioned Harinder Singh, executive director of the Texas-based Sikh Research Institute (SIKHRI), at a guest lecture by him on 21st February 2009, about the modifications he has made to a daily Sikh prayers –ardas & dohera, the use of disrespectful language and the changes to pronunciations and spellings of Sikh words in the SIKHRI syllabus, called Sojhi . The students argued that these modifications were against current Sikh practices and it did not have the approval of the Sikh Panth. The Sojhi syllabus, which has been taught to Sikh children, has been sold for $5000 to an undisclosed number Gurudwaras' for Sunday School programs in North America . Parents who have discovered these modifications have decided to remove their children from the Sunday schools and blamed, firstly, Harinder Singh for not informing the Gurdwaras of the modifications; and secondly, the Gurdwaras for buying the syllabus without reviewing the content. Harinder Singh refused to answer the students who queried him about his syllabus and the organizers of the talk affiliated at Berkeley, Hardeep Dhillon, Bhavreet Gill, Rattanamol Singh, and Amritpan Sandhu, called in the University of California Police Department, who forced these students to leave the premises. Jasjit Singh, a non-student was instrumental in organizing the event and instigating the students to call police. Meanwhile, Harinder Singh or the SIKHRI board has not given any response to defend his position re the Sojhi syllabus. Simran Singh, a philosophy student at Berkeley said, “I, along with some concerned students and community members politely requested Harinder Singh to explain his changes to the Ardaas, but he didn’t answer us.. He avoided our questions. Event organizers eventually succeeded in silencing the questioners by calling the police.. At this point, those of us who had questioned Harinder Singh were escorted out and left the event. We had approached him to ask him, why he had made the above changes and under who’s authority did he make those changes?.” Simran further said, “We are shocked that the Gurudwaras in the USA and Canada have implemented the Sojhi syllabus, without realizing these modifications. All the Gurudwara managements should be alerted, especially where innocent children, the future of the Sikhs is involved. Khalsa Schools at the Gurudwaras are a place where the foundation of Sikhism for the children is introduced and not a place to seminate confusion” Amrit Kaur, a parent, from Fremont , said, “I am worried about the next generation getting mixed signals. I am surprised, even the Punjabi language has been distorted in this syllabus.” Rajendar Singh, a concerned parent from Fremont said, “I am very disappointed with the way the Sikh Research Institute, which purports to be non-profit to promote Sikh education, has changed the Sikh tradition based on their beliefs and have implemented this in the form of a curriculum. When my children made an attempt to correct him at his seminars, they were asked not to speak. I have decided to pull out my children from the Khalsa School at Fremont . The Sojhi syllabus should be recalled.” He also said, that , “the Gurudwara managements need to be alerted and made aware that such syllabus’s shouldn’t be implemented. The sangat’s money should be spent for educating the children for the Khalsa Sunday schools but not at the cost of traditions and certainly not at the level of school children. I feel people like Harinder Singh make their impact by influencing youths and children at seminars and now through Punjabi schools when they are not watched by others. Slowly and subtly they dilute the core message of Gurbani with their own.” Rajendar Singh also narrated an incident in 2005 when Harinder Singh conducted a seminar on Asa-Ki-Vaar in Fremont . The response to the question as to who is the Guru of the Sikhs was met by Harinder as follows: "anyone who can read and understand the Guru Granth Saheb, and can recite gurbani verbatim is a Guru." He said, “Even, I can be a Guru, and so can you.” Rajendar Singh’s children walked out of the conference room. Rajendar Singh insisted that, “Anyone who believes, that on being able to read and recite Gurbani verbatim, can become the Guru of the Sikhs, is a fool! We will not allow our children to follow a curriculum for the Sunday Khalsa School at Fremont Gurdwara”. An Amritdhari girl, who is studying political science before commencing a law degree, preferring to remain anonymous, gave the following account of a seminar conducted by Harinder Singh: “During one of his seminars that I attended, the gist of Harinder Singh's teaching was that the Guru Granth Saheb Ji can’t exist without the Guru Panth. He stated that without the Guru Panth there can be no Guru Granth. He got furious when I questioned him as to what was the source for his deduction and conclusion. For my understating, I asked Harinder Singh who is our Guru, He said anyone who recites gurbani verbatim is our Guru including 'me or you' if we can recite it verbatim. All the Amritdhari Sikhs, who were present, knew he was wrong and walked out with us but the non Amritdhari Sikhs kept on listening to him. I felt like that he wanted to create a divide. He wanted us to follow him blindly as in a cult. He could be another mushroomed sect soon..
