I know a lot are vegetarians but the dairy indistry is just as bad if not worse than the meat industy? the process of milk production is messed up, even organic milk is a business and a scam, why do we contribute to a industry that rapes murders and slaughters innocent beings? love to hear everyones views on this Wjkk Wjkf

  4. VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Sure: http://igurbani.com/?shabadid=3955&id=47165 Sikhi begins here. I think perhaps it is being missed what a Sikh is. The ideal Sikh sells his/her head to the Guru. Even upon selling that head to the Guru, he/she commits that if the Panth needs their life for a cause, they will willingly and without hesitation give it. It is a very high standard and Guru Sahib has outlined it to be sharper than a sword's edge and thinner than a hair. Gursikhs such as Sant Jarnail Singh, Shaheed Bhai Fauja Singh - they all were householders. Countless Gursikhs gave their lives in recent history that were householders. They had Shabad di kamai. Whatever your views on Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh, his Jail Chittian are a testament to a Gursikh's commitment to the Guru - was he not a householder? There are multiple examples just in the city I live where bihungums have been overcome with kaam and had affairs with women. Merely walking the bihungum path has not provided them any respite from feelings of kaam. Why is this topic still being pursued? If celibacy was a superior path, then why would Guru Sahib have advocated a householder life, or at least spoken of celibacy being superior in pursuing Gurmat? Stop promoting celibacy as anything superior - in the end, an individual must face the 5 vikaars and defeat them to obtain results in Gurmat. Whether that be as a celibate or a householder, the fight is internal, not external. Both are subject to them and the only means to overcome them for a Sikh is through practice of Gurmat. Either path can be faced with any and all of the 5 vikaars, and either, through God's Grace, can overcome them and become a true Sikh. Even the dialog captured in Vaaran Bhai Gurdas Sahib are telling of Guru Sahib's contempt for this celibate arrogance, when Guru Sahib straight up dissed Bhangar Nath about celibacy and associated ego: ੪੦ : ਸਿੱਧਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੋਸ਼ਟ ਖਾਧੀ ਖੁਣਸਿ ਜੁਗੀਸਰਾਂ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਕਰਨਿ ਸਭੇ ਉਠਿ ਆਈ। ਪੁਛੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਭੰਗਰ ਨਾਥੁ ਤੁਹਿ ਦੁਧ ਵਿਚਿ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਾਂਜੀ ਪਾਈ। ਫਿਟਿਆ ਚਾਟਾ ਦੁਧ ਦਾ ਰਿੜਕਿਆ ਮਖਣੁ ਹਥਿ ਨ ਆਈ। ਭੇਖੁ ਉਤਾਰਿ ਉਦਾਸਿ ਦਾ ਵਤਿ ਕਿਉ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਰੀਤਿ ਚਲਾਈ। ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖੇ ਭੰਗਰ ਨਾਥ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਉ ਕੁਚਜੀ ਆਹੀ। ਭਾਂਡਾ ਧੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਤਿਓਨਿ ਭਾਇ ਕੁਚਜੇ ਫੁਲੁ ਸੜਾਈ। ਹੋਇ ਅਤੀਤੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤਿ ਤਜਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਉਨਹੁ ਕੇ ਘਰਿ ਮੰਗਣਿ ਜਾਈ। ਬਿਨੁ ਦਿਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਹਥਿ ਨ ਆਈ ॥੪੦॥ All the yogis getting irritated grouped together and came forward to have a debate. Yogi Bhangar Nath asked, (Why have you put vinegar in milk?) The spoiled milk cannot be churned into butter. How have you put off yogic garb and attired yourself in a household way. Said Nanak, (O Bhangar Nath, your mother-teacher is unmannerly) She has not cleansed the innerself of your body-pot and your clumpsy thoughts have burnt your flower (of knowledge which was to become fruit). You, while distancing and repudiating house hold life, go again to those householders for begging. Except their offerings you don’t get anything. ਜੋਗੀ ਈਰਖਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਠ ਆਏ। ਭੰਗਰ ਨਾਥ ਜੋਗੀ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲੱਗਾ “ਤੂੰ ਦੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਂਜੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ?। (ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ) ਦੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਮਟਕਾ ਫਿੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਰਿੜਕਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੱਖਣ ਕੀ ਨਿਕਲਣਾ ਹੈ? (ਭਾਵ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਦੇ ਚਾਟੇ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਜੀ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਗਿਆਨ ਮੱਖਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਕਲੂ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਉਦਾਸੀ ਭੇਖ ਲਾਹਕੇ (ਤੂੰ) ਫਿਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੀਤਿ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ? “ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ) ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ ‘ਹੇ ਭੰਗਰ ਨਾਥ! ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਕੁਚੱਜੀ ਸੀ (ਅਥਵਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਬੁੱਧਿ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੈ)। (ਉਸਨੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਦਾ ਭਾਂਡਾ ਧੋ) ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਤਾ (ਭੇਖ ਰੂਪੀ) ਕੁਚੱਜੇ ਭਾਉ ਨਾਲ ਦੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਬੈਠੀ ਹੈ। (ਸਤਰ ੭ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੁਚਜਾ ਭਾਵ ਕੀ ਹੈ-ਗ੍ਰਿਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੀਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫੇਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਖਾਣਾ।) ਵਿਰਕਤ ਹੋਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਫੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਸੰਸਾਰੀਆਂ) ਦੇ ਘਰ ਮੰਗਣ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ (ਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ)। (ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਦਿਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ (ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ) ਕੁਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ। https://searchgurbani.com/bhai_gurdas_vaaran/vaar/1/pauri/40

  5. VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH If you are having doubts, go again and clear your doubts and say what you need to say to the Punj Pyare. A) Tell them the situation - you went pesh, but did not mention you committed the same stuff multiple times. B) If Guru Sahib asks, provide details or incidents and number of times as/if they ask. C) Do what they say. It's obvious it is still bothering you, so just cut to the chase and go. Embarrassing - there is supposed to be strict confidentiality and those doing the seva should have enough of a Gursikh jeevan to have been selected for the seva. All sorts of things are brought in front of the Punj Pyare, from the very minor to the very serious. Guru Sahib's job is to take care of his Sikh, so go get this off your mind and move on with your Gursikhi jeevan.

He, who protected thee in the tank of the belly, no other, but He, shall save thee in the world forest of sins. ਹਰਿ ਸਕਤ ਸਰਨ ਸਮਰਥ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਨ ਨਹੀ ਨਿਹੋਰ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੦॥ हरि सकत सरन समरथ नानक आन नही निहोर ॥२॥२॥१०॥ Har sakaṯ saran samrath Nānak ān nahī nihor. ||2||2||10|| God's refuge is powerful and potent to do all the deeds. Fareed, your hair has turned grey, your beard has turned grey, and your moustache has turned grey. ਰੇ ਮਨ ਗਹਿਲੇ ਬਾਵਲੇ ਮਾਣਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਰਲੀਆਂ ॥੫੫॥ रे मन गहिले बावले माणहि किआ रलीआं ॥५५॥ Re man gahile bāvle māṇėh ki▫ā ralī▫āʼn. ||55|| O my thoughtless and insane mind, why are you indulging in pleasures? ||55|| ਕਬੀਰ ਮਨੁ ਮੂੰਡਿਆ ਨਹੀ ਕੇਸ ਮੁੰਡਾਏ ਕਾਂਇ ॥ कबीर मनु मूंडिआ नही केस मुंडाए कांइ ॥ Kabīr man mūʼndi▫ā nahī kes mundā▫e kāʼn▫e. Kabeer, you have not shaved your mind, so why do you shave your head? ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਆ ਸੋ ਮਨ ਕੀਆ ਮੂੰਡਾ ਮੂੰਡੁ ਅਜਾਂਇ ॥੧੦੧॥ जो किछु कीआ सो मन कीआ मूंडा मूंडु अजांइ ॥१०१॥ Jo kicẖẖ kī▫ā so man kī▫ā mūʼndā mūnd ajāʼn▫e. ||101|| Whatever is done, is done by the mind; it is useless to shave your head. ||101|| SGGS Ang 1217 ਨੈਨਹੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਚਰਨ ਝਾਰੀ ਕੇਸਾਇਓ ॥ नैनहु संगि संतन की सेवा चरन झारी केसाइओ ॥ Nainhu sang sanṯan kī sevā cẖaran jẖārī kesā▫i▫o. With my eyes I see the Saints, and dedicate myself to serving them; I wash their feet with my hair. SGGS Ang 1378 ਦੇਖੁ ਫਰੀਦਾ ਜੁ ਥੀਆ ਦਾੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੂਰ ॥ देखु फरीदा जु थीआ दाड़ी होई भूर ॥ Ḏekẖ Farīḏā jo thī▫ā ḏāṛī ho▫ī bẖūr. See, Fareed, what has happened: your beard has become grey. ਅਗਹੁ ਨੇੜਾ ਆਇਆ ਪਿਛਾ ਰਹਿਆ ਦੂਰਿ ॥੯॥ अगहु नेड़ा आइआ पिछा रहिआ दूरि ॥९॥ Agahu neṛā ā▫i▫ā picẖẖā rahi▫ā ḏūr. ||9|| That which is coming is near, and the past is left far behind. ||9|| ਫਰੀਦਾ ਕਾਲੀ ਜਿਨੀ ਨ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਧਉਲੀ ਰਾਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ फरीदा कालीं जिनी न राविआ धउली रावै कोइ ॥ Farīḏā kālīʼn jinī na rāvi▫ā ḏẖa▫ulī rāvai ko▫e. Fareed, those who did not enjoy their Spouse when their hair was black - hardly any of them enjoy Him when their hair turns grey. ਕਰਿ ਸਾਂਈ ਸਿਉ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਰੰਗੁ ਨਵੇਲਾ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੨॥ करि सांई सिउ पिरहड़ी रंगु नवेला होइ ॥१२॥ Kar sāʼn▫ī si▫o pirhaṛī rang navelā ho▫e. ||12|| So be in love with the Lord, so that your color may ever be new. ||12|| ਫਰੀਦਾ ਕਾਲੀ ਧਉਲੀ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਚਿਤਿ ਕਰੇ ॥ फरीदा काली धउली साहिबु सदा है जे को चिति करे ॥ Farīḏā kālī ḏẖa▫ulī sāhib saḏā hai je ko cẖiṯ kare. Fareed, whether one's hair is black or grey, our Lord and Master is always here if one remembers Him. SGGS Ang 1379 ਫਰੀਦਾ ਮੈ ਭੋਲਾਵਾ ਪਗ ਦਾ ਮਤੁ ਮੈਲੀ ਹੋਇ ਜਾਇ ॥ फरीदा मै भोलावा पग दा मतु मैली होइ जाइ ॥ Farīḏā mai bẖolāvā pag ḏā maṯ mailī ho▫e jā▫e. Fareed, I was worried that my turban might become dirty. ਗਹਿਲਾ ਰੂਹੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਈ ਸਿਰੁ ਭੀ ਮਿਟੀ ਖਾਇ ॥੨੬॥ गहिला रूहु न जाणई सिरु भी मिटी खाइ ॥२६॥ Gahilā rūhu na jāṇ▫ī sir bẖī mitī kẖā▫e. ||26|| My thoughtless self did not realize that one day, dust will consume my head as well. ||26||

Sometimes I just get perplexed, as per how while being guests in this creation of Wahiguru, we make plans to make it a place as it is going to last forever, and moreover try to make it ours at all cost. From here on, start our problems of "moh" and "maya". We tend to easily forget, that Wahiguru has given us, this human birth, to only settle our karmic account with His bhakti once and forever, to become immaculate and pure as Himself, through Shabad Guru, and finally merge in Him. But no, in spite of our Guru Sahibans giving us true gyan, to discern Truth from untruth; but we as ungrateful guests, like to make ours by wanting to posses something, which first of all is not ours at all, and in that sense we are no less than foolish thugs or thieves. The creation is of Wahiguru, He is the only Malik, let Him do with it as He thinks fit. There is no doubt, He has that much wisdom. How to keep it or handle it, that is His outlook. What is ours then? Being happy wherever we are, due to our own karmas, that is to live in Hukum; and as per Gurmat, try to only make Him ours. Having Him with us, what else do we need? Such a pity, nobody talks of plans, of having the keen desire to find and become one with our Pyara Preetam Wahiguru Akal Purukh, but rather run after mayavee shadows which keep us prisoners in the chaurasee ka chakar, thus we remain as bikharees, as paupers always... That also, when our Sachay Patshah Akal Purukh, is the only true Emperor, and true is His kingdom Sach Khand, and true is His wealth of Naam... Sat Sree Akal.
