Also PLS, Benti for everyone, when referring to Gurpuabs, pls use Bikrami or Mool Nanakshahi (Which are basically Bikrami dates) dates, don't use English dates as they are not accurate as the original. Yes, all 4 of these. Probably #1 the first one. In Punjab people who have a determination to be the "headman" become, variously, panch, sarpanch, councilman, mayor, MLA, MP, etc. In the West, that's often not possible, so they fight like dogs to become Gurdwara president. When you're Gurdwara president, it's more like you're president of the entire community. To prevent that, I think we should encourage organizations like the North American Punjabi Association and City Sikhs and so on. People who have a leadership bug can go and become the local presidents of those types of associations, and be the "president of the community", meanwhile those who want to do seva can be in the Gurdwara committee.

Yes, Guru Sahib penned them on top. If you look at early Birhs of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, they all have them on top generally with the rule I had mentioned. They were not mixed, bottomed, and centered how they are like current saroops and senchyia printed today by printers. I don't care about the SGPC, but please don't call scholars like Bhai Randhir Singh (Scholar), Gyani Gyan Singh Ji Nihung, Nihang Naurang Singh (One who standarized Sarabloh Granth), Bhai Joginder Singh Vedanti, and Bhai Joginder Singh Talwara as lacking knowledge on Sikhi. They have spent more time studying Puratan Saroops than all of us.

actually NO scholars would dare to request changing the wording of the existing Mangalacharan from those penned by Guru Sahiban themselves which is what happened , it was NOT about formatting issues of the script . . I am stating the issues that have been historically caught to illustrate the lack of sikhi in SGPC head honchos.

Why is everyone in shock? This is completely predictable and to be expected by the enemies of the Khalsa. The best thing to do is to stay away from the propaganda machine, educate your children and sangat and do not watch these movies. Money is power to these people so if you boycott it and don't invest your time, money, mental energy into it, the movie will flop and they will get the message. Otherwise this will only continue to get worse in the future. This is the best strategy and it will cause them great pain knowing that not only have their plans been ineffective, but they have also lost a huge amount of money in the process.

do you think he had two cuts of the film one to get approval initially and one which was for the cinemas which suit the diminishment of Guru Nanak Devji etc ? because it is too fishy that they sat through the film and didn't notice the glaring omission of Naam Japna ... Sikka sounds pushy because he is kind of adamant that it will be shown internationally . I noted that he did not correct mistranslation of gurbani in subtitles , guess 3 years is not enough to proofread and consult ?
