Is it not possible to have the normal langer hall? and the langar their maybe you could as the gurudwara their view on the idea ?

I have been thinking the same thing for a while, gurdwaras should be providing shelter and food for the homeless. Too much of the sangats money is being wasted on flat screen televisions. Gurdwaras are being extended but not providing anything for the community,

I have to agree with banda. It does really seem like taliban thinking. Talking to opposite sex is a sin. According to Religions these days everything is a sin. No wonder people are gowing away from religion.

If these kind of things are so bad then why is nothing done about them. I am tired of hearing Sikhs moan about how SGPC / Badal & Co are corrupt. If their so corrupt why not get them out? Surely their are steps that can be taken to get them out of running Gurdwareh etc...

If people want to make friends then they will continue to use such websites. Most people on such websites have very little if any knowledge on Sikhism. What Sikhs need to do or what should have been done along time ago is parchar in english, on sundays, organize camps, trips to theme parks to get the youth united. The girls have events like Kauragous and stuff but its usualy in evenings and most girls parents dont really let them go to the events so maybe organize such stuff on weekends and holidays would be best.
