AKJ UK makes statements on other matters, so it would be helpful if AKJ UK could clarify their stance on this important issue too. As senior AKJ UK youth sevadaars visit this board, I'm sure they'd agree that it's not in the interests of their Jathebandee or the wider Panth if Akhotee leaders are (mis-)using AKJ UK's good name to create shankae/divides in the Panth. Also, it's important for pro-Siree Dasam Granth Sahib Jee GurSikhs to KEEP continually lobbying Sikh Channel and other media. The Missionaries/Naastiks have a few loud people who are wrongly influencing average Punjabi people through Kala-Afghana supporters/presenters of Panjab Radio. It's important that Sikh Channel remains Panthik and is not a mouthpiece for such Naastiks. Ask Sikh Channel to show the Barsi programmes again, and also to record other Siree Dasam Granth Sahib Jee programmes going forwards. Let them know that the Naastiks do not represent the Panth!!! I'm trying to concentrate, focus and understand on where the mics are on in the Divan. Even if there is only one thing happening, how many of us can honestly say that we have full focus on gurbani paath, keertan or katha? Our only hope is shardhaa and Ardaas to Maharaaj Jee. Gurbani and Naam will only become implanted within you with Guroo Sahib Jee's Kirpaa. If Guroo Sahib Jee is merciful, then it will happen; it will not happen in any other way, regardless of whether there is one paath happening, or as per the programme for Guroo Gobind Singh Jee's Avtaar Purab and Sant Baba Thakur Singh Jee's Barsi. Come and attend, and you will see/feel/hear/smell/sense the Anand for yourself. The game of pyaar and shardha and satkaar for Guroo Sahib Jee will show any one how all these things at once enhance the spiritual bliss - the spiritual energy can only be experienced, not described. Where the pyaar, shardha and satkaar are not present, you are right that multiple paaths and keertan happening at the same time will not have the desired spiritual effect. Waheguroo

I never got to hear it all, but from I did hear, that Dhesi guy was doing Shanka-vaadi on Dasam Paatshah's Bani. Sikh Channel need to be lobbied to not allow people like him on air! One minute he says Babbu Mann deserves a gold medal for his stand against Sants, next minute it's only Sant Samaaj that are doing Panthic Seva re Ludhiana Kaand. Sikh Channel need to decide what their stand is on important Panthic issues and not flip-flop trying to keep everyone happy. I wouldn't want to support a channel which is allowing for the very core of Sikhi (i.e., Guru's Bani) to be attacked through its presenters. Waheguroo

Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Jee themselves said in the Sikh Channel interview on Monday that there were traitors of the Panth, even now, present during the Dhaarna at Ludhiana on Saturday. These individuals were back-stabbing the Panth by relaying the plans of the Sant Samaaj to Badal and the police in relation to the planning and next steps for the funeral of Shaheed Baba Darshan Singh Jee. This made the Dhaarna ineffective come Sunday morning. Baba Jee said that slowly through, his experiences of dealing with these people, he is realising who truly is Panth-Dhardhee and who is not. Guru Maharaaj Jee Kirpaa Karan, and bless those GurSikhs with Panthik-spirit with Hosh and Josh to negotiate these difficult times and spot the Dushts and Sell-Outs within. Waheguroo

Ask the countless Monae that Baba Ranjit Singh Jee met and are now Kesadhaaree or even Amritdharee. They will tell you that Baba Jee's pyaar and encouragement, with Guroo Jee's Kirpaa, made them keep Rehat. Posting on forums is one thing. Doing Kamaiye on Bachans of Mahapurakhs is a totally different thing. Waheguroo

Baba Nand Singh Jee's aim was to encourage and motivate Sangat to do a minimum certain amount of Abhiyaas a day over a period of time. Doing even 50 Angs of Maharaaj's Bani, or equivalent other Banis, for a month works towards this. This is just one Vidhi/Tareekaa. Anyone should try this and then experience the improvement in one's spiritual life. :D Waheguroo

Penjee, Many GurSikhs have issues with the Nanakshahi calendar. It is not necessarily being done at Badal's behest. Guroo Sahib Jee themselves referenced dates and historical events in GurBani according to the Bikrami calendar. Therefore, these GurSikhs will ask the question: if it's good enough for Guroo Sahib Jee, why isn't it good enough for us? Waheguroo

General question - what counts as Langar? Is it all food that is served in the Gurdwara, or only food which is prepared for Maharaaj Jee's Bhog and then distributed amongst in the Sangat? Nearly all weddings these days in the UK have outside caterers for the Chaa/Pani after Milni. I would have thought this is not Langar, since no Bhog is done in front of Maharaaj Jee. However, if all food served in the Gurdwara is Langar, then the outside caterer's food also counts as Langar. Any ideas?
