But still, many people like Kala Afghana mis-inteprate it because they think their smart - withour reading and ucharing the bani shud, listening to the viakhya of it and doint santhiya of it. Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji is our Guru Ji's work and the key that Guru Ji has blessed us with for unlimited Beer Rus and knowledge of how this Duniya Works and how none put Akaal Purakh (he who has NO colour, caste, creed, race, nation, physical form or time, but at the same time IS, HAS, AND RUNS everything, and himself is unlimited and beant) is worthy of being worshipped

loha generally means steel or carbon steel or any steel metal...i think... Yes, thats why (i think) Guru Ji told us to wear Shaster that where made from Sarbloh (all-iron/steel) - because they are much harder, stronger and forged in one piece (full tang) rather than bolted on to a hilt made seperatly - therefore their isn't a risk of the sarabloh shaster's blade snapping, braking or disconnecting with the hilt. The type of steel/iron that you would want your shaster to be would up to you. In emergancy's where loads of weapons had to be made really quick and cheaply but still reliable and have the ability to sharpen, Iron would be your best choice. Where as when you had enough time and wanted a Shaster strong, light, decorated, well-built and you had enough time to have it made, damascus could be used. ...thats just my interpratation.

OK, lets get this topic back on track... I agree, and most people have had that before. Non of that is in any way Good or Helpful to the child, plus its promoting Racism (Race Hatred) and giving all black people a bad name (even though he may be a really really good guy). So true...this is very important is todays age, especially where lazyness and obessity is taking over the world (the influence of TV, video games, fastfoods, microwave chips and what not) which doesn't get you very far (unless its to do with Sikhi ofcouse). Everyone needs to develop the habit of excercising, its essential (especially in young children, so they are not influenced by all the stuff i mentioned above. great point, discipline is key. MAN JEETAI JAG JEET Fights are won by the side that has the best discipline (wether the fight be a huge yudh/battle or a little spar). You can tell by who is good fighter easily, because the good fighter will shake your hand and give you a helpful constructive comment (and even take one...and say thanks in return) even when you dont know him and he doesn't know you. This shows that he has no ego (or has very good control over it), because he has nothing to prove to anyone. On the other hand, the crap warrior will do the opposite (swear, curse, diss etc...) in attemp to prove or give people the illusion that he is good, when he is not.

Great Post Singh, it happens often and is ignored, your post is a great Eye Opener... unfortunatly, thats true...instead of getting better were getting worser and fights like that are signs of it, this Topic is a great wake-up call to all YOUNG AND OLD SIKHS (All Paji's and Penji's and even Uncle Ji's and Baba Ji's if any are reading) because a Sant Sipahi needs to be tyar bar tyar. yes, it does seem hard at first when you start training and sparring and you get a good blow but a true warrior, when he decides to fight (obviosly, you should try to avoid a situation first) Fights hard and never gives up, even though he looks like he is in the odd's of getting battered. This is the stage that everyone (like myself, im nowhere near it) should be reaching and this comes from training and training hard and taking some knocks and blows when sparring people older and better than you. I see gud signs in the future as well Singh!

So true, every Sikh is a Sant-Sipahi (a Saint Soldier) and should be Tyar par Tyar 24/7. I currently train in Kickboxing, Gatka, and Powerlifting (for Strength and Size, it relly helps with Power when ur fighting) and planning to do some sort of grappling art (Jui Jitsu or Freestyle Wrestling) in the future. It is important for everyone to know a Weapon utilising art (such as Gatka, Escrima, Kendo etc...) with a Striking Art (Boxing or Kickboxing) and Grappling Art (Jui Jitsu, Judo, AIkido, Aiki-Jitsu, Freestyle Wrestling) as it is absolutely crucial today and Required in the Streets of todays and tommorows world. Ofcorse you could also train in anything else you would like to do to build your preformance up and take it to a next level (for example Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, General Weight Lifting, Bodybuilding for etc... for Size, Explosive Power and/or Strength). And yeh Shooting as well are also very important and crucial so its a good idea for Singhs to get together and go Hand Guns Target Practising, Airsofting (better than Paintballing anyday lol), Clay Pigeon Shooting etc... theres loads of training you can do which will all help you to become a good Sant Sipahi. Correct me if im wrong...
