The guy seems to love the sound of his own voice and seems to have started his mouth without engaging his brain!

I think we need to be careful and not take everything at face value. The Muslay making the comment I can accept because that is inherent in their nature which our old Rehatnamas point out. Sangat TV have dug themselves into a hole. Upinder Randhawa is now bigger than Sangat TV. Due to the idiocy shown by the channel they have made a fool like him into a celebrity. They need him to keep their non-Sikh viewers who only came across the channel due to his reporting on the riots. Conversely they will lose many Sikh viewers who cannot stand someone with his views being a presenter on a Sikh TV channel. Like I said, they've dug themselves into a hole.

Could be because they know they are under the cosh now. They've picked a fight with the kalay since the 2005 riots and one of the kalay took out three of their number. Kalay were going around in car shouting that they were going to burn all the mosques down so they needed non-Muslims on their side. If the Pakis rioted then they would have got a worst reputation than they have had already. Not the best example of a 'good' Muslim! Did you know that Nawab Sher Khan was killed during a battle against Banda Singh Bahadur? Did you also know that he had kidnapped a Sikh Bibi from Amritsar who committed suicide rather than be raped by your 'hero' Nawab. Her body was exhumed when Banda Singh Bahadur took Sirhind so that her antam sanskar could be done. I've been amazed at the stupidity shown by many Sikhs especially in Birmingham. There was some <banned word filter activated> Sikh who was quoted as saying at the memorial for the three Muslims that got killed that 'The whole society look on Sikhs and Muslims as terrorists!" That Upinder Randhawa guy is a complete plank! He was interviewing some Muslim and he started with salaam alaikum! What's wrong with just greeting him was a Sat Sri Akal or if you have such an inferiority complex about your faith then why not just say hello? The sucking up that the people at Sangat TV did to the Muslims in amazing. All so that they could get some praise from them! I wish some Sikhs would use their brains and understand that with Muslims you have to be aware 24/7 and not let some fake praise go to your heads.

Did anyone see the footage on Channel 4 news this evening. It showed some black guy on the pavement having had the shyte kicked out of him by Singhs outside the Soho Rd Gurdwara. Apparently he had driven past and sworn at the Singhs protecting the Gurdwara.

I remember after the Mumbai attacks three years ago, NDTV had that 'we the people' discussion programme and that has been actress Simi Garewal was calling for military strikes against Pakistan! She was obviously confusing the country she was in with the USA or Israel. The killing of any innocent person is bad, but I remember that during 2002 when there was a real threat of a war with Pakistan, the people in places far from where the action would take place were the most jingoistic about the war and the ones in Punjab and Rajastan were the ones who didn't want a war to take place. Probably these bombings and the attack in 2008 has brought home to these people what it means to be a Punjabi during an Indo-Pak war.

Not sure whether you have to do pesh as you ate something by mistake and did not do it intentionally. As far as I know originally a pesh was done if someone had committed a Kurehat intentionally and wanted to rejoin the Panth. Although it would be best if you checked with the Panj Pyare from whom you originally took Amrit.

Kam Singh's show was one of the best shows in Sikh Channel. I would be disappointed if he left the channel.

This kind of mischevious behaviour is typical of many Hindus. First he calls a Singh a liar and then starts to prepare tobacco in front of him. No doubt he would have done this is a provocative manner. I remember in the 80s before the movement took off, Hindus on buses and trains would intentionally smoke in front of Sikhs and blow the smoke in the direction of the Sikhs. Seems like he got taught a good lesson and won't try the same mischief with another Singh.

Well done Singh! I agree with most of the posters. If every Singh kicked the shyt out of any racist gora, musla or kala who was provoking him, 99.9% of the issues we have in the UK would be resolved. The posters on the other side also have a point as historically Sikhs have always allowed the enemy to have the first strike before responding. But in a street situation, you never know if the gora had a weapon so a first strike knocking him senseless is probably a good idea.

The Indian Express like most of the Indian media are mouthpieces of the Indian government especially with regard to Sikh issues. There is NO WAY that a democratically elected government in this country can 'curb' anti-Indian demonstrations. If Hague did make any statement to Krishna then it could only have been in response to Krishna referring to Khalistani 'terrorists'. To the Indian regime, even a peaceful protest is 'terrorism'. It is good that the Sikh Federation is seeking a response from Hague.

He is doing 'his' job if his job is to keep the chair warm for Rahul Gandhi. I'll never understand why people are so ready to defend this puppet of the Gandhis. What do you mean handle such a big country alone? He has lakhs of government officials to keep the country going. It's not like he's single handedly keeping the government machinery running.

People on this forum need to be careful of watching conspiracy videos and visiting conspiracy sites. The Flower of life symbol can also be found in Hampi and Ajanta in southern India. These sites range from 300 BC for Ajanta to 1300 AD for Hampi. So it's highly unlikely that the British had anything to do with bringing these symbols to India as they existed prior to their arrival. This symbol along with others would have been known to craftsmen in India so when the marble was laid these symbols would have been placed there. No great conspiracy.

Maybe he wanted to make a difference and stop the fanatics of the Taliban getting back into power. Chances are he lived in the real world and wasn't sitting on his armchair watching 'loose change' and other conspiracy videos 24/7. The least you can do is respect the man who gave his life for a cause, whether you or other conspiracy nutcases believe in the cause or not!

SevadaarEKhalsa, It's good to see that so many Sikhs are doing their best to help out our fellow Sikhs. I seem to remember that a fund was set up or was in the process of being set up by Sikhsangat some years ago. It would be a good idea so that members who can make donations can contribute to helping the needy brothers or sisters around the world. It also ensures that we are not just a talking shop and that we make a difference to some of the sad stories that get posted on here. How many times do we read of a needy Sikh and then realise that we are basically helpless in assisting them because they live in another country and we don't know how and if the donation we make will get there. I think it's a great undertaking by yourselves. As for Bhai Jagjit Singh, can you please PM me some details and if possible a UK account number to make a donation.

I've got no connection with any of the three Sikh channels but it peeves me off no end when people just come on here to call any of these channels a 'joke'. Why don't you get off your butt and set a channel which is better than any of these three? Then you'll accept your opinion.
