Most of the people working at Heathrow are Sikhs lol. The surrounding areas southall, hayes, hounslow all contain the largest sikh populations in Britain. Maidenhead also has a large sikh population, with it own gurudwara. You wont have any problems at Heathrow, unless of course they have good reason to question you. Brits have a good knowledge of sikhs, and are generally warm and welcoming. Guru Nanak Sat Sang Sabha, 31 Rutland Road, Maidenhead, SL6 4HT. Although most programes occur on weekends. Slough is very close to Maidenhead, and has a gurudwara as well. LSE, stands for the London School of Economics, its a university. yupp unfortunately there was a suicide when a female jumped infront of the heathrow express train, its the 8 th suicide there i think in the last two years i saw the body being carried away in the body bag was quite horrific

Claiming Sikhs are linked to Al Qaeda is probably overthe top, but the other topics highlighted need discussion on an intelectual level. If people want to claim Sikhi is part of Hinduism, then let them. Hindhus claim Guru Nanak was Hindhu, Muslims claim him to be a Muslim, some Buddhist argue he was the incarnation of the Buddha, even some Christians has layed claim to Guru Nanak Ji. This is how great sikhi, and how great our Guru's were, every religion claims Sikhism to be part of theres. There is no other man of god that so many people lay claim to. And yet Guru Nanak said, a true man of god has no religion. This is the beauty of Sikhi.

i was stopped once wearing my 3 foot kirpan by police they said although ur practising ur faith its likely to intimidate the public so they dropped me to gurdwara, thats were i was going anyway i was likee safee, they advised me to try not wear it in public places i fought they was gonna do me over for wearing it at first

the thing is when u take the roop of khalsa I.e dastaaar, 5k's etc, u have a certain responsibility u cant go around doing bad stuff in that roop because u stand out and u will bring dishonour to guru gobind singh, u hear about the murderer of the 5 prostitutes in ipswich whose in trial now is quite big on news hes only bringing dishonour to himself, if a singh did that ur bringing dishonour to sikhi
