  1. Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh Just a thought... in Nov 1984 when Sikhs were hunted down and set upon by the cowardly mobs, this was done on such a large scale because the perpetrators had been given inside information on where those Sikhs homes and business were located. By Sikhs in India hanging flags from windows etc. are they not highlighting, where a "sympathising Sikh" can be found? With the merciless killing of the Gursikh teen "Veer Singh ‘Heera" at the hands of the crooked Punjab police back in Jan it's clear that the traits of the 80's & 90's plastic cops can still be found in 2012 and now with news coming out that media blackouts etc. are possibly being implemented we need to be smarter than ever and not allow the "wolf in shers clothing" amongst us fool us by playing our brothers and sisters in to the hands of those that mean us harm just because we are Sikhs of Siri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj and stand for Truth and Justice. 2. Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh Very well writen article. Thanks for Sharing Paaji Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh
  3. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh I think you first need to ask yourself why you keep doing the same thing over and over again when you clearly know its wrong in Gods eyes? This is not a "Sin & repent" faith we follow. Get to the core of the problem and fix it there, so that you no longer need to ask for forgiveness. If you cannot do that by yourself then dont be afraid to ask for help with your issue from a close member of your family or a friend that will not judge you.
  4. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh May Waheguru Maharaj's kirpa bless you with your project... People need to give the Brother assistance on what he's asked for or go back to reading gurbani!
  5. Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh Facebook is bukwas and I'm so glad I permanently deleted my account... Good riddance to bad rubbish!
  6. Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh Reading some of the previous posts relating to the topic of unity it is clear that while an individual allow them self to be differentiated from the next Gursikh by their own manmukhi, they also leave them self open to the divide and rule tactics of both internal and external bahdmashes. If you really want to take the first step towards unity... Then “Stop looking for the difference between you and the next person, and rather look for the similarities”
  7. Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh Thanks paaji's... I agree that a group be it Misl or whatever you want to call it is open to being infiltrated by corrupt or money hungry individuals but that said who do you think that runs the houses where our Maharaj Guru Granth Sahib Ji stays every day & night right now?? Akaal thakt sahib is indeed the throne of Akaal Purakh and our spiritual base and should ultimately handle disciplinary issues, however forgive me for my boldness but sometimes the decisions that are made in Akaal Thakt Sahib seem to be a little too late or as lip service rather than a command that the perpetrators in lands far from Punjaab seem to fear or on occasion take seriously. A Sikh &/or Khalsa can not soley be judged by their words and outward uniform alone but must equally and probably more so be judged by their actions and deeds. All too often we entrust people who clearly are not good human beings let alone good Gursikhs with the leadership of our religion, institutions etc. and then compain and moan about these people when they contiously let us and our paanth down. Akaal Thakt Sahib like most sikh institutions these days are run by corrupt individuals and we are loosing more and more grip day by day. Real change is needed and needed pronto!!!
  8. Wahegurujikakhalsa Wahegurujikifateh Just a thought that I would like some opinions on! With the fragmentation of the Khalsa and Sikh nation, as well as the spread of our brothers and sisters across the globe, do you think there is once again a need for the creation of misl's? It seems all too often these days that we hear and read about someone somewhere both internally within the paanth or externally doing some sort of beadbi or bahdmashi. So would a custodian or group such as misl's within each region, area or continent be effective enough to police such issues? I think it is important that we start discussing positive steps forward rather than just highlighting negative actions taking place around us without offering solutions or actually doing something to counter that negativity...
  9. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Paaji I think you should learn some respect and help the Non Sikhs who visit this forum to understand why we refer to Nanak as Guru Nanak Dev Ji WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  10. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Please have a look at the following link my Brother. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/about/gbhtml/gba1.shtml I hope this goes some way to helping. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  11. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh The Anglo hatred for Sikhs first made itself evident with the division of the Indian subcontinent. The British will never forgive the Sikhs for the problems we gave them during their unjust occupation of India & they always have and always will consider us the main thorn in the side of their Empire. For this disobedience (or what would today be know as “Acts of Terrorism”) they divided the Sikh homeland directly between the two main warring factions i.e. the Muslims & Hindus, knowing full well that the Sikhs would never again regain the exact territories previously controlled under the Khalsa Raj. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  12. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Bhai sahib you should pay special attention to your footer notes "Bhul Chuk Maaf Karni..." WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  13. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Thank you Sikh Root, great read : ) Keep up the good work WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  14. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Absolutely amazing post. To the Paaji who posted the article, please forward my sincere thanks to your friend who wrote this. Since about 10 years, I have not celebrated Diwali, mainly because it has not sat right with me and my understanding of Gurbani (also a bit of a gut instinct too) but this article helps me to consider some points that I didn't before. Thanks again. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  15. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Peacemaker, take it easy my Brother. If you think about it logically, it's quite a interesting question really. I'm sure if you & Sikh Youth UK, have a personal issue you can resolve it in an adult manner through PM, but please do not try and stop debate because if this. Not having a go, just a kind request from one Brother to another. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  16. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh My Brother, I understand the Shabad you have quoted to mean that "We" should refrain from carrying out ritualistic actions that have no significance on our spirituality or our union with Waheguru and should concentrate on Naam which will free us from the suffering caused by Ego, Jealousy, Anger, Lust & Greed and ultimately bring us closer to the true goal of merging back. I hope this helps WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  17. Really my Brother, I would have thought that someone as Learned and Knowledgeable as yourself :WW: would have known that their are certain individuals who have been tasked with disrupting the Panth! The type of people who continually post derogative comments on this forum about other Gursikhs as well those who distort Sikhi for their own agenda – Hence Negative Seva.
  18. WaheguruJiKiKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh To my beautiful Sikh Brothers & Sisters of the Guru, please beware as they will come in many disguises. Always remeber that just because they look like you and talk like you doesn’t mean that they are one of you! Prepare yourself as they are making their advances into the panth right under your noses. The ones who control the Education of future generations control the future of the Panth. So, Read Gurbani Daily, Visit the Gurdwara Daily & Exercise your body Daily. Question everything & Trust nothing but your Guru. Keep up the Positive Seva WaheguruJiKiKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
  19. WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh Please be respectful, the Brother has made some points that would be expected from a person external to Sikhi & the Sikh Plight for Sovereignty. This is a good opportunity to practising and debate your understandings of the main points and objectives i.e. Religious, Cultural, Economic etc. Guru's Kirpa WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruJiKiFateh
