i still cant believe my post was deleted. there was nothing insulting in there. at worst i have some questions about this period that id like to get answers about. is that such problem? wot does the editor recommend? that i go to a hindu site and get answers( or lies more like it). better yet why dont i go to kim bolan. this is not something new but Sikhs should know better. anyone who took power was a puppet of india whether a hindu or hindu in sikh form. someone did provide a link for you. So your question was answered.

Whatever sangat singh wrote cannot be taken as 100% correct. But provide a proof (pictures of meeting, dates, years etc.), Sant Ji was given jathedari by Taksal not indira. indira brought forward people like darbara, boota, umranangal etc but never someone who had some feelings for Sikh Panth. She sought for the most corrupted people in Sikhi.

this is a very baseless point. Gursikhs did not boycott elections because they were influenced by some agents. this can be confirmed by many singhs who have served in the struggle. it was not a good choice but jathedars like Sukhdev Singh, Brahma, Gurjant Singh, Labh Singh could never be influenced by congress. they very well knew the reality. but provide some proofs from reliable sources.

I met a singh who had served the Panth in the movement. He told me some stories and one story about shaheedi of Baba Manochahal which I could not agree upon. I had no proofs but I could never accept the Shaheedi of baba Ji the way he described it. after a while I read a post on tapoban and I was correct. The story I was told was a lie. My point is, if a singh who fought for the panth did not know 100% truth then you and me are nothing compared to him. Talk to some singhs and you will surprised. lets not to be too naive. first of all buta did have connections with militants. this is not a black mark against them, but really against the goi, because it shows the kind of dirty tricks they were up to. u want sources of people who said buta had connections with these people? ok. ryasti, and sampat singh of haryana threated to expose him. ryasti was later murdered after telling a few reporters of this.

also, if u read joyce pettigrew's book she writes of her talk withe some high ranking police officers. they told her that buta and kps gill in a sneaky way were behind the killing of chief minister beant singh. cuz beant wanted to wrap the fight against khalistani which was already over a couple years before.. but buta and gill wanted to continue this "war on terror" because it filled up there pockets. so as a result in a sneaky manner were involved with the assasination of beant singh. similar thing happened with the election. as i asked before, is this a black mark against khalstanis? NO. just shows the dirty games the goi was up to.

in case u havent noticed, us sikhs are pretty naive when it comes to politics. we have our strengths and weaknesses. the powers that be have been able to capitalize on our weaknesses unfortunately.

yea thats why i came here for my research. this isnt somethnig i can go to the library to learn about. most everyday people dont know this stuff either. so i came here to ask a few questions. didnt know that was a crime.

i dont see why this should even be debated. he was recruited in to politics because indira and zail were looking for someone to challenge the akalis. they were hoping sant ji would be the stooge. even bhai manjit singh said the same thing. unfortunately for them they picked the wrong guy. sant ji worked for sikhs, and once he saw what they were up to he was against them 100%. what other reason is there to explain how he was associated with them? like i said many times before its not a criticism of sant ji.

brother, after finding what happened, the real behind the scene story, i dont put my trust on anyone now. just because a sikh looks the part it doesnt always mean he is the part, yeh? read about how budhsinghwalia died, and many others, it was by the treachery of their best friends sometimes, by supposed gursikhs even. i just trust sant bhindranwale but he isnt here.

anyway, like i said before, a few of these jathedars were being used in an indirect manner. look at babbar khalsa. it was infiltrated almost from the beginning, even before 84. how else do u think those black cats got in to their ranks and started commiting terrorism that got blamed on the real khalistani's? its quite possible that a dodgy agent, or police officer was encouraging some khalistani to do things that hurt sikhs... like encouraging the boycott of elections. something i read on that link about manochahal.. he didnt support the boycott, which was against what the goi wanted. so he couldnt have been entirely a dodgy character some say he was. again, its not a criticism. just shows how clever, and dodgy our enemies are.

what these people in the goi have done is infiltrate major sikhs groups, and cause damage from the inside.

look at babbar khalsa. it was infiltrated almost from the beginning, even before 84.

Babbar Khalsa had very strict code of Rehat and only few Gursikhs were selected. No strangers were allowed. black cats came way after. babbar khalsa started in 78 and kuttay billay didn't show up until at least 7-8 years later. I am 100% sure on this. I cannot say any more.
