You are 100% spot on about Sikhs willing to accept any story that anyone conjures up about Guru Gobind Singh. Take a look at the number of stories some kathakars are dreaming up, many of which are totally against Gurbani. Just as we are getting more and more Sakhis being made up by some kathakars, we are also now getting the nice and neat pidgeonholing of prominant Khalsa Sikhs into Nihangs, Nirmalas and Sewapanthis!

SO true. Makes on wonder, during the establishment of Khalsa in 1699, did Guru Gobind Singh pick and choose his Singhs as they took amrit and send them off to different groups one by one? That you put on a blue dastaar and go to that jatha, you put on a chitee dastaar n go to that jatha, n u walk around without a pajama and go to that jatha. Going by the kinds of stories told by some kathavachaks i wouldnt be surprised if the next one created does just that. WOuldnt make it much different from an ordinary NHL entry draft with each draftee goin to diff team donning a diff jersey.

Time has come for the Khalsa Panth to wake up and realize that the goal of entering the Panth is not to become divided up again but to remove all divisions and unite as one!!

Nirmalas are pujaris who are based on building deras and taking money. Why woud they start adding stuff such as Sant in front of their names then? What contribution have they made to the Panth? None. Maybe brahmifying of Khalsa Panth. Also answer my questions about rehras. Who gave the sant babas and dera walas power to change the maryada.

This is interesting, since many of today's Jathabandis also derive their Sarabloh Bibek, dubious bana (featuring certain lengths for the chola and what not), own brand of Kakkars, Pati-Parmeasur Pooja and various other things, that many here regard to be "chardi kala" from these very rehitnamas, of course they use SELECTIVE quotes from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, but then THEY ALL DO THIS!!! and THEY are ALL still DIFFERENT!!!

The best thing is that all these groups systematically attack the Akal Thakt Rehit Maryada, whether openly or underhand (by publically claiming they support the Akal Thakt, when clearly their actions and beliefs do not) and deride it as some form of SGPC invented Rehit or some Christianity accomodating adaption from the articles of the CoE.

The even funnier thing is that this seems to be the only consistent item that these groups agree to - i.e. oppose THE Sikh Rehit Maryada, on other points they argue consistently between themselves.
