Should Sikhs tie or gel their beards

i personally love singhs who has open dhari.. 4me they look very presentable.. anyway it depends in the situation a person is also... i agree if a singh need to work around with machinery then he might to just have to tie up his dhari...

yes but remember this doesnt excuse the gelling. Gelling is damaging to our kesha.

is the issue here about tying one's beard or using gel?? I'm not saying tying is wrong or right, but there are other methods of tying besides gel...

Personally for me..gel is comparable to say dye/bleach for the hair..it alters it..

i've seen some men that have gelled dharis it luks kinda wierd like greasy..like u wudnt wanna even touch it

yeah khuli dhari is da BEST... gel spoils the dhari// if everyone here could give ideas as how to tie up their dhari wout gel it will be very beneficial for the virji's out there whose work needs them to tie up their dhari...
