There is a serial on the Indian Channel Sahara One, (a show my parents watch ) called Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai, and it is about a lady name Bibi Amrit Kaur (I think they are acting out the whole Bibi Jagir Kaur thing) They keep showing Sikhs with kirpans killing other people, and Sikhs doing bad things. This is really p***ing me off. Is there anything we can do?

First of all, any educated and rational individual wouldn't base his or her opinion of Sikhs from a Fictional T.V show. Those that do, will do so regardless if they see it in a T.V show or not.

The real question is would you have made this post if the bad character was a Hindu or a Muslim?? if Yes/No then why Yes/No?

if watching the show offends your sentiments, why don't you write in to the producers and if tis really bad, gather a group of people to get it off-the-air. talking about this issue here will do nothing except raise awareness......you'll need alot more than just raising awareness if you want to deliver the real goods.

Really? dang! I couldn't watch it after the India-England cricket series started coz Sahara One started Sahara Filmy and Sahara One disappeared March 1 - April 15. Didn't know the serial would take such a hopeless turn! Used to be good!
