i can only answer for khalsa camp - non-amritdharis were allowed to do seva like washing up in the kitchens and were encouraged to do so. the langar for those who kept sarbloh bibek was prepared separately from the main langar i think. there was a lesson on how to do sukhasan and parkhash last year, and if you approach the sevadaars they will show you how to do it properly. and there was no problem with non-amritdharis doing kirtan - i asked about it.

Was speaking to some people who went to BOSS Camp.

Except duties that are reserved for Panj Pyaarey, (practicly) everything else is allowed by non-Amritdharis.

THey can do Kirtan, do langar di seva, washing dishes and everything else (not doign Parkash and Sukhasan, but no-one was allowed to do that, only sevadars did that)

Unforuatnly Sukhasan and Parkash Di seva was not taught, and only the camp sevadars did this. All other sevas were open for anybody.

Otherwise, Everyone was welcome to do everything. Everyone was welcome to do Simran/Kirtan whatever hour of the day. There is AKJ Kirtan/simran done during various times in the day. Anyone is welcome to do so.

Hope that clears up for you.

I've heard that the organisers of Sikhi Camp (BOSS camp) will try to have some workshops running this year to teach sukhasan and Parkash di seva, as well as other useful things such as degh di seva and kirtan...

Having been to sikhi camps in previous years I have always found the sevadaar are very helpful and are happy to teach you anything you ask for.

Like lion(lk)king veerji/bhenji said, Sikhi Camp is very open in terms of seva for nearly all aspects of the camp...

Also it's 10 years of sikhi camp so it should be extra special this year :TH:
