Sangat Jee, I wanted to ask a question. When ardaas and hukamnama are done for the starting of a khand paat and they start to do Jap Ji Saheb, when do you give out deg to the sangat. When I did deg di seva, some people told me to wait until Jap Ji Saheb finished while others told me to give it out right when Jap Ji Saheb begins. So I am alittle confused.

personally i dont think it maters as long as the pog is done, because the bani remains the same and the deg is the same ( as long as pog is done)

I've been told on numerous actions by different people that Degh is Vartaad (distributed) only after the JapJee Sahib is completed on the Arambh of an Akhand Paath.

However, I have seen Degh Vartaad after only the first 5 Paurees of JapJee Sahib.
