first of all to understand these people's suffering, we have to read gurbaani, because only through gurbaani does one understand humanity, compassion and the concept of righteousness.

also, personally i think the second step is to free the gurdwaras and SGPC from antisikh forces. There is more than enough manpower and money in punjab to help the sikh victims. The SGPC on pressure from RSS and congress forces stopped supporting families of shaheeds. IN the west we keep trying to educate foreign govts about the sikh holocaust, but sikhs from punjab betray everything we do by siding with the indian gov't and say that sikhs deserved what happened...in the west we raise slogans for khalistan, in india sikhs raise slogans for badal and RSS, or congress. There is no unity. NRIs are outnumbered by the traitorous indian sikhs....the question lies for indian sikhs, which side are you on?

For too long now this is always asked of NRI sikhs, what are we going to do. we hold seminars in universities, we talk with senators and governors, we have shaheedi samagams, money gets sent(don't know where it ends up), on and on...but indian sikhs destroy all efforts of NRI sikhs by turning there back on everything. the numbers are astoudning, like 16-20 million indian sikhs to about 3 million NRI sikhs...

the facts are the facts, the movement was started by sikhs, and eventually crushed by sikhs themselves. the sikhs had the gov't in such an awkward position that if we stood united, today we would be talking about a free sikh homeland...but as usual traitors in our quam showed their true colors.

unite people in india, we here in the west are pretty much united on a panthic stand.

so basically it is a police state with no freedom of speech. Tai sikh hun idda kehe wi nahi sakde kio ki delhi waaliah ne sardar nu PM bana dita, hun je assi kehe deiyeh ki sikh gulam ah, ta fir gaddaar sikh kehende ki assi kitho gulam ah, sade desh da PM sardar ah...

I know it is hard, but i honestly think it gonna start by freeing the guru ghars. I don't have any answers how to do it bhaji, it is easy to talk but hard to act.

    • This is where the vichola needs to get involved, and family!
    • Hi All, I havent been on this forum for a while but I thought id give it a try again as it helped me through some rough times earlier in my life. I wanted to seek for guidance on sikhi and marriage ... I noticed a post earlier on sanjog etc. and it got me thinking about my own life and marriage. For context, I have been married 3 years and things are not working out. When we met, I looked in to sanjog alot and it felt like it was written. However, as these years have gone by its become apparent that we no longer align with each other and our marriage is struggling. We dont seem to understand each other and things have fallen apart. We are at a stage now where separation/divorce is looking like the best option. Neither of us are happy and whilst we have tried to work things through in many different ways, after 3 years we have drifted away. What are the sikh views on this? is it written if we decide that we no longer serve each other? or is that a sin and should I continue to work at it? my issue at the moment is that it is draining me. I feel withdrawn from everything due to things going on between us including sikhi and going to the gurdwara.  Breaks my heart to even be writing this but I do think if we are both not happy and cant see a way of being happy then what is the point in continuing? Or should I be continuing and is it paap if we dont honour our laavan? if that is the case, what does sikhi say about marriage? how do I continue knowing everyday I feel the way I do?   Thanks

    • I'll use this place as my spiritual journal so if anyone wants to join then feel free to! I'm not sure if this could be classed as an experience but last week (or 2 weeks ago), I felt my saliva to be sweet however I lost it after a week. I don't really regret it though, if I lost it then it's Hukam Another point, I feel my concentration to be very good for a while, I can focus on the void for a longer period of time than I could before. I also feel a lot more Anand, it's all Guru di kirpa
