whats your definition of rude?????? do you mean those who use profanities???? if so, you gotta understand some of them use these words unknowingly and when its published it appears that theyve used a profanity. it's happened to me a couple of times and when my post is published i go "HUH THIS IS A PROFANITY??? I NEVER KNEW:(" Same thing happened to moorakh bhajee in his narration of khoti shah story when he translated the meaning of khoti to english using the a-word for the benefit of those who might not understand and it got filtered off. Bechara bhajee became so sad(and ohmy.gif too tongue.gif ) and i had the biggest laugh ever..... laughing away at his misery for using "vulgar language" for the first time in his life. Happened to Jkaur bhainjee once too when she used the word c_a_. That doesnt mean we're purposely being rude. Now we know what seemingly "innocent" or "double-meaning" words get filtered off, we just make a point not to use them anymore. Its a learning process and i think members shouldn't be penalised if a word they use unknowingly appears as a profanity once published.Juz some food for thought. Modes of punishment....well admins should suggest some points and discuss with members to see if all are in agreement on this issue. Once a consensus has been reached, this can be implemented.

The sewadars are discussing this topic, and we will get back to the sangat very soon, as to what will be done to rude users. Everyone knows SikhSangat is a place where arguements rarely ever take place, and we would like to keep it that way for everyone's good..

Bhul chuk maaf!!

Vaaheguroo jee kaa Khaalsaa Vaaheguroo jee kee Fateh!

Every situation requires a unique response.

I vote "No".

There should be a selection of choices that is flexible and fitting for every situation.

For example: Gabroo Khalistan Dah says some things he doesn't mean sometimes; he says them because he gets emotional during some discussions. Everybody who reads this board often, knows that he's still a good guy. Banning him with that new rule would be unjust.

Vaaheguroo jee kaa Khaalsaa Vaaheguroo jee kee Fateh!
