If we accept that Nothing can be created on it own, so there has to a Creator for the Creation, then if we

apply the same logic to Creator and then the question arries 'WHO CREATED THE CREATOR ???'

Brian.Singh, scientifically speaking this is true. But you must understand one thing, science and religion are two seperate things yet at the same time they cannot be without eachother. It was because of Religion Science came to be.

Scientifically speaking nothing can be self-existant. But, as we know science can only answer so much. Religiously, anything is possible. Look at all the Gursikhs who had darshan of Waheguru ji, Even the Guru's and other Prophets dont know the limit of God. The best summary of who/what Waheguru is, is Mool Mantr. As humans we are given a brain, but this brain and only uncode/decipher so much. There is a higher being, and only the being knows their extent, we as humans dont know anything, there is still so much to know and explore. Brain.Singh daas cannot tell you what to believe as only you can decide, but daas can tell you what daas believes and how it relates or does not relate to your belief. Daas belives in the teachings of Sikhi and what the Guru's said. Teh Guru's know and have known more then any scientist in the world knew. There will be things whihc we will NEVER udnerstand, but only accept that it cannot be understood; one such understanding we have yet to know is Who/What is Waheguru. This question will and has baffled so many. Basically, believe what you wish, but science cannot answer all your questions, whereas Religion can (maybe to some extent)

Sorry for the ramble. Daas thinks he may have confused peopel who have read this post and daas is sorry for that. This topic is a sensitive one. Scientifally it is impossible for something to create itself, but religiously it is possible (i.e. Waheguru).

NONO!!! They are not separate.. its just Science is BEHIND religion..

Science is based on the logic of Humans - Like you and me.

Relgioun is based on the message from God - Completely different level version of science.

Sikhi taught about millions of planets and suns etc and millions of gallaxies in the expanding universe ages before Mr Science thought of it. Back then Science said "earth is flat". People back then thought that science is right, and that the world being round is illogical.. MMM What garantees that self-creation is illogical just because science disagrees with it?

By the way, there is a tuk in Gurbani that mentions big Bang as the "shabad" - ie: everything was created from a loud sound. anyone help me get this quote please?
