i agree. it was amazing..cant help but to feel sad and upset. i know its the will of mahraj and we should except it but like bhai harvinder isngh ji said today..its very easy to say it but very hard to actually except the will.

the first shabad smashed it

"the one you sent, has now recalled you, returning home with peace. "

people die and are talked about and then forgotten, but our brotehrs will be talked about and learnt from, that makes them different, their legacy will live on!

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ke fathe.

I wish to offer my deepest condolensces to the family and friends of Harvinder Singh (15 yrs), Satvir Singh (17yrs)and Tajinder Singh (21 yrs). I did not know either of these young Gursikhs, but hearing that they have so tragically lost their lives has touched myself and many people around me very very deeply.

It seems they have offered people around them very much in their short lives and have been an asset to the Sikh faith and community. May they rest in peace.

May God also give their families and friends the strength they need to cope with their loss and also celebrate the lives of these three charismatic young men.

God bless you.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ke fathe.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ke Fateh.

I would like to pay my respects to the 3 Sikh warriors. I have been touched by the amazing life of the 3 Guru Sikh Brothers.

Amazing is the mothers of the 3 who gave their lives for each other - they have not lost a son but have gained all guru sikh brothers as their sons.

They will see their sons whenever they see Guru Ji's Bana.

We have lost 3 True Guru Sikhs but i hope we can gain 3 lakh Guru Sikhs from this. I wish and do ardass before Guru Mahraaj that we manmooks can take a look at ourselves and try to replicate the 3 brothers.

Guru keh Charna vich hei yeh jindha.

Sat Sri Akal

SikhSangat News:

copy_of_gursikh2.jpgMourners from all over the world descended on the Black Country and two secondary schools were closed for the antam sanskaar (funeral ceremony) of three young gursikh friends who passed away in the Lake District. Coachloads of people poured into Wolverhampton from across the whole country while many more flew in from as far away as India as police, community support officers and stewards were deployed to deal with crowds.

The bodies of 15-year-old Harvinder Singh, Satvir Singh, aged 17, and 21-year-old Tajinder Singh were taken to the Guru Nanak Gurdwara Sikh Temple in Blakenhall, Wolverhampton.

The two schools attended by Harvinder and Satvir, Highfields Science Specialist School and Colton Hills Community School, were closed as a mark of respect and pupils turned out in their hundreds to pay their last respects.

Cars lined the streets of Blakenhall and among the thousands gathering at the temple, there was a silent and sombre mood.

Prayers were led by a representative of the temple and a single line was formed by mourners.

They slowly and quietly filed past the coffins of the three young men, which in keeping with Sikh traditions had been opened so that their bodies could be viewed for the last time and then passed on through to enter the Gurdwara and listen to sehaj path and kirtan.

After the service, the bodies of Harvinder and Satvir were taken to Bushbury Crematorium. Tajinder’s body is being flown back to India. The friends were on a weekend trip to Ullswater on September 23 when tragedy struck.

Gurdial Singh Dhaliwal, general secretary of the temple, paid tribute to the three.

He said: “The whole community is in a state of deep shock. Our prayers are with their families,” he said.

Talking about the three friends Satvinder Singh, a spokesman for the temple, said: "The best way to describe them is as Gursikh role models.

"People say all the time we have a lack of them but these three were role models for the community. And not just for the Sikh community but for everyone out there."

For those who were unable to attend the service, the many speakers from a diverse cross-section of the community spoke of their sympathies with the families and stressed the need to learn from the lives of these Gursikhs of how to live a life in acceptance with the Lord's Will and achieve the spiritual aim of the human life.
