....i want to take amrit soon .....but is it bad to take it from a jatha....cuz i dont want to make my self part of the jatha but do follow their rehit

You can take amrit from whereever you want (any jathabani or gurdwara or organization). You don't have to join them or anything. Just make sure that the rehat that they will be giving is close to what you know rehat should be (there ARE some weird ones out there).

i also wanted to ask that some people think its better if you take it when your pyar for the guru has grown....when you cannot stay even one moment away from the guru.....im not at the stage yet...but im sure i want ot take amrit now??.....but even the slok sent above says " they alone drink it in with love"... ?

you have it all backwards. the stage you are talking about is wayyyy up there buddy. who knows when that will come.

amrit is a first step on the path that leads to that stage.

Everyone who knows me, will know how much love I have for Taksali Singhs.

I first took amrit in Derby organised by damdami taksal sevadars, however as all sikhs in their spiritual progression want help, I went back to see my panj pyarey (at a rehansbai keertan).

Guru ji did bakshish on me and granted me with naam driddh

Its funny how I get fellow taksalis come up to me and start 'jatha bashing' towards akj, whom organised the second amrit sanchar i became pesh. My big blue round gol pag is cool, looks like bhindrawale style! :D
