By the way shouldnt they be taught about the religion and its teachings before they convert... this is how festivals such as rakhri creeped into sikhism.. hindus didnt have a clue about the relgion b4 they converted

It is interesting to see Dalits leaving Hinduism ,but thousands of Sikhs becoming Hindus by cutting their Kesh in the Punjab. There has also been a rise in following superstitions and self styled gurus. Many Sikhs refferred to as low castes have been joining other religions due to the complete lack of parchar from the Sikhs.

ya. people shouldnt just call themselves Sikhs just cuz they born in a fam that goes to the Gurudwara, or has pics of Gurus up... etc.
