My sashter vidia ustaad ji talked about how Guru Nanak Dev Ji was no different from Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In Brief:

Guru Nanak Dev Ji was called a Babar Sher by Bhai Gurdas Ji (Read shabad: Satgur Nanak Pragteya.." Guru GObind Singh ji was a Babar Sher too

Guru Nanak Dev Ji openly called Babur - the ruler of one of the biggest empires ever seen (Mughal Empire) Such a powerful ruler - Jabur - a DOG. Guru Ji was fearless then AND as Guru Gobind Singh ji.

At the amritsanchar.. Guru Gobind Singh Ji asked for heads.. only 5 stood up.. but all they were doing was following the words of no1 else but GURU NANAK DEV JI: Jao To Prem Khilan Kaa Chao - Sir Dhar Tali Gali Mori Aao!!!

and if cutting hair wasnt wrong back in them days, why did Guru ji keep hair himself?! :D

There is a bit of hypocracy going on here.

'Sehajdari' (those who cut their hair) accept whole heartedly that the Granth Sahib Ji is the Guru of

Sikhs. Yet they refuse to accept that Khalsa is also necessary.

Who was it that made the Granth Sahib the Guru of Sikhs?

Who was it that stated that it is necessary for Sikhs to take amrit and become Khalsa?

Why accept one instruction of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and not the other?

Ok if they feel that they cannot live up to the expectations of a Khalsa, but to

denounce the need for it is being a hypocrite.

I was talkin to one of my friends. We were discussing about keeping a dastaar and not cutting hair. She goes " who was the founder of sikhism?". i said Guru Nanank Dev Ji. and she said there you go Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave us SIKHI but it was Guru Gobind Singh Ji who instituted Khalsa, the 5 K's.

she forgot one big concept as some have already mentioned. there is no different between the 11 gurus. check out the links below. they explain how guru ship advanced.
