Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, Vaheguru ji ke fateh.

There is a certain "group" of users on the forum who tend to love comedy and are constantly posting jokes and irrelevant posts all over categories and in serious discussions. These kinds of "funny" sentences often misguide a thread, and sometimes transform the thread into something we would find in the Fun & Jokes section.

If you want to talk about a joke, or post funny articles, jokes, opinions, please save it for the Fun section only.

My request for you is not to be a robot and to have no humour and post without laughter and always be serious. My request is if we can all act a bit more understanding of our fellow sisters and brothers and show respect to each other and you ask how can u show respect online? Through your words, your posts, your views and your opinions.

It is simple, start by posting something in relation to the actual thread, try not to mislead the topic into another discussion, simply start another topic if you belief it is worth to start a seperate discussion, if it closely relates to the current topic, you can discuss it in the same thread.

You can always post a joke, but make sure something worth posting, something serious, also exists in your reply.

Sentences consiting of one line, and the line itself which is a joke, makes no sense on it's own, it's just +1 your post count. Post jokes in other sections, in serious discussions by all means, but please do not make this your mere purpose for visitng the board, to post jokes, have fun, crack jokes, waste time. Although these activities might be your goal and the goal of your group of friends, I can safely assume and say it for everyone...People are here to learn, increase their sikhi, solve and understand their life problems better, and support each other in our journey through life as a Sikh, influence others as someone has influenced on you.

By taking these small steps we can make better use of our time on the forums, and make them more effective and efficent.

Posts which contain immature phrases, taunts, gestures, etc will be looked on and deleted/warned/suspended depending on discretion.

Always remember we are doing this to make the board a better place for us to all come and unite and discuss sikhi in order to advance our own knowledge.

Post will be included in rules section very soon
