Waheguroo jee ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo jee kee Fateh!

The final decision is up to you. Saving a life is a rare opportunity that you have been given, and its a medical procedure, so the medically necessary hair removal is OK in my opinion. You arn't cutting for fashion, for comfort, but to save a fellow human being's life.

Waheguroo jee ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo jee kee Fateh!

nice answer!! :)

Worry about yourself and your sikhi first, then worry about saving lives and making a worldwide difference.

so your saying that its wrong to save other's lives? that a sikh shouldn't think about another? that what everything our Guru's taught us was wrong?

i've read your other posts KFI, and you say a lot of rude things

THINK before you speak/write

What if there was situation where you needed an operation to save your life and therefore had to shave some hair or whatever... does this mean you should not go through with it?

if you are an amritdhari in this situation, you dont do the operation.

it is a bujjar kurehit wether it will save ur life or not

What if there was situation where you needed an operation to save your life and therefore had to shave some hair or whatever... does this mean you should not go through with it?

yes, dont go through with it.

you can't just say that EVERYONE has to follow this right?

rather than making this decision on your own...why not take a hukamnama?

when your in this situation, ask Guru Ji

he'll give the right answer according to your own situation

not everyone's karm is the same

Guest baba amarjeet singh
you people are disrespecting life, this is just as bad as suicide which is sin

i dont think so, bhai sahib randhir singh was preapred to give his life to keep sarbloh bibek

he went 40 days without eating or drinking

this is a sin is it?

its a sin to go against guru sahibs hukam, if keeping hukam means giving your life then so be it

Of course in some cases, if you fall unconcisous or something and they do the operation and remove your kes without your knowledgen, then, what could you have done? you would just have to go pesh at the next amrit sanchaar

however, i agree that it would be a different ball game if you actually were in that situation, its easy for me to just say things like this whilst im all comfy at home, a lot harder to actually do it
