If you come in contact with a bit of alcohol its not the end of the world, it can be as an anti sceptic. If some shower gel goes in you mouth (don't ask how) then just rinse it out. Either way your not going to turn into a drunk and start committing sins. Most mouth washes contain alcohol, but your not using it to get drunk but to stay clean.

Anything with an -OH group is a base, not an alchohol. What makes it an alchohol is the chain of hydrocarbons (CH3's) combined with the OH group. And yeah, if it isn't getting you drunk, it really isn't an "alchohol" in the sense that everyone thinks of it. The one group that people drink to get drunk would be ethyl alcohol I think.
