So yup simple questions, Anyone in Leicester willing to join a Tennis Club for Sikhs? (though will be open to all) You'll get Specialist coaching to enhance your serve and so on, You can keep fit in summer hols, What day would you guys be free to have such an activtiy? Preferable Times?

Whats the ideal Location? Im thinking Evington Park cos its peaceful and is close to East Park Road GurGhar.

Name for such a club? Would you be willing to pay membership fee? (Incase we have to hire out courts and for other expenses)

Or is there no interest at all?

I know I put this in the wrong section Admin Ji, but people only check this section mostly and my target readers is very small so I need as much people as possible from Leicester to read this. Could you just leave it here for a couple of days?

I would be upfor it, weekday eveinings or weekend mornings would be fine!!

As for how much time the indivdual will get on the court depends on how many people turn up, City Council usually rent three courts at a time out so if people are playing solid doubles matches thats 12 people constanty in play.

If we decide not to rent the courts it will depend on how many free courts are avaible. Though on weekend mornings, they seem pretty quiet, which is a good time to do it I think.

Even if there is a large number of people come we can use a fast paced rotating system, where match's will last 3 set points or something.

Also it depends on what time people wanna go home lol...in 3-4hours people can get atleast an hour on court.

The Coach has participated in successful trial runs with large numbers, but yer its all in developing stage.

Damn it, Lesta! Me and Mrs wanted to join a tennis group for ages, however I have drawn a short straw because i dont live in lesta!

not a bad idea, though the courts in evington aren't exactly good, can those who around 30 join ??? would like some coaching on the old server never really had any... do play tennis when i can... would be interested..

Yep anyone above 14+ should be alright.

Evington Park tennis courts are the best ones I have been to within the area of GurGhar, The reason why I think it is important to be close to the GurGhar is because people can meet up there incase they dont know location and transport can be arranged from there for people who dont have it.

Though do you know of any other good courts in Area?

I was thinking the first session should be around the first week of June when exams are over?!

umm the best courts that i've seen in the area with transport are in Oadby, the university courts, i'm sure you could arrange something with the uni to hire them, they are first class courts, and there are courts there which aren't brilliant but good.
