Rip Angad Sawhney

Wednesday morning, a friend of mines called me with some horrible news.

Angad Sawhney, 19, from New Jersey, was involved in a fatal car accident Tuesday night.

It was impossible for me to believe it, until I had to face the news online.

Everybody, please pray for his family so they can take care of themselves. I can't imagine what they must be going through. I knew Angad for about 6 years, a close friend of mines, and I still can't imagine that he's actually gone. I NEVER LOST ANYONE SO CLOSE.

He was a great kid, well known in his college and the Sikh community, and most importantly, a good friend of mines.

Please, pray that his family is alright, and that he's in a better place now..

I was talking to a bhainjee I know and she was telling me of this horrible news. I did not know Angad Bhajee personally but from I have heard over the last few days, he seemed to be a great person who was always filled with happiness.

Let us all do ardaas for his family and those who were close to him. Waheguru Kirpaaa Karo. =)

Thanks for the great quotations. Its funny how a human works hard all his life, makes money, becomes well known and then, pass away.

Human life doesn't make any sense, why does god give and take away lives? How could he have done this to Angad? Didn't he at least think twice about his family and friends?

It just doesn't make any sense. I've heard alot of people say; the good die young, but it doesn't make any sense, aren't the good suppose to die last?

I still can't get over the fact that hes gone forever.

im sorry for your loss. i think i know how you feel, i lost a good friend and it was hard to understand and get over the fact that , your friend is gone forever, and you never got a chance to say any last words, is it a real mind opener, worse still after a few months life keeps goingand you forget and itsback to thesamestory.

as for why god gives and takes that is a question of understanding. you really need to know what human life is for, we get this life to attain salvation. our families and friends are here for the same reason. although we get attached to people, we should always realise that we will all be seperated one day, i dont think i can explain why god does what he does, but everything is his, he does as he pleases and what he does is always for good.
