wah wah cheema, you have shown less guts than nehru and gandhi which basically amounts to no guts, when Hindustan became independent China attacked India nd INdia's army equipped with sticks were there fighting back, Nehru literally died at hearing the news. INdia asked America for air force help but the Americans had no interest to help them so India turned to the Soviet Union. China still controls much disputed Indian territory. Pakistan attacked INdia with their American made Patton tanks and Sikh soldiers strapped grenades on their bodie snad laid under them to blow them up. What did India have when it became Independent, Gandhi and Nehru did not have a Nuke under their Kachas which made them so confident that India would survive as a nation? As a Sikh how could you have no faith in the Khalsa? How could you praise Sant Jarnail Singh Ji but fail to carry on the mission of teh Khalsa? You know why Khalistan is not a movement with momentum, becuase people like you who claim to be Sikhs and "Punjabi" and feel the wealth of Punjab is more important than the protection of the Sikh identity. Have your wealth and your technology saavy Punjab which is more important to you than a sovereign Sikh homeland, but it will not secure your Sikh identity.

You say stop all this talk about Khalistan. Why, because we all should accept defeat and forget about our beloved Akal Takhat Sahib reduced to r

ubble? The Jewish people never have forgotten the Holocaust and a Jewish homeland was made despite strong forces against it. I guess the Jewish kaum has more guts these days than our fellow Punjabi brothers like Cheema. Hindustan and Pakistan are not just names, when Sikhs want to visit Nankana Sahib where do you go to beg for a visa? What government tells you how many Sikhs are allowed to visit their Gurdwaras? The Indian government! The country of INdia cannot forget a Hindu Mandir destroyed in the 16th century and "Sikhs" like you have forgotten our Gurdwaras from 20 years ago? Pathetic, pathetic, you say what are we all doing for Khalistan, well first of all we at least have faith in a Khalistan whereas people like you think Sikhs do not have the brains nor the brauns to secure and run a Sikh homeland. Why is our leadership weak, becuase they have your mentality, our leaders all care about money about getting more jameen to build hotels etc like Badal's hotels in Delhi. You want to make Punjab arich and prosperous state and also speak abou the good blood of our martyrs spilled, wow, you so quickly mention and forget the blood of our martyrs, so that is it huh, blood just spilled for nothing. Thousands of people were made to disappear in Punjab, will your computer cafes bring justice to tgose families? Will your technology bring back the husbands of the Delhi widows? Will your great abundance of jobs in Punjab wash away the blood of our martyrs still 20 yeras fresh on Punjab soil, will your monetarily secure Punjab clean the human rights abuses, the tortures the rapes of our sisters? The question my friend is will your Punjab receive JUSTICE by becoming rich?!

The world id appalled at seeing the mass graves of thousand of people killed by Saddam Hussein and his regime, what will the world think when they know of the hundreds of thousands of Sikhs murdered in cold blood? You a felloe Sikh brother from Punjab have already forgotten and feel these things warrant no ac

tion but a driv eto make Punjab a financial giant. Wow, this is why we are headed nowhere, not becuase we do not have nukes to protect a future Khalistan, but becuase our own people like Cheema have put the value on Sikh blood spilled at such a low value. How easy it is for you to forget and move on. What are we doing for Khalistan? We rare remmebering our martyrs, we are discussing our mission, in way this mission will be carried out is in the hands of the Panth and waaheguru, but people like you do not even discuss or have faith in the mission of the Panth.

Your Hindustan cannot even change the Constitution to acknowledge that Sikhs are a distinct religious group, what would you do if Bush declared all Americans to be Christians? Why are there so many Babas and Sants in Punjab who keep Sikhi saroop and pull people away from Sikh values? Why are fake sants like Bhaniaarwaala protected by government security? Becuase the Inidian government has made it their mission to destroy the Sikh identity no matter what, people like you are interested in your rich Punjab, but people like us are aware of the threat of Sikhi. And remember the Punjab you wish to make rich was once very prosperous, but your hindu masters in Delhi continued to build dams and stealing Punjab river waters and giving them to other states and not investing a penny into Punjab, and Sikh farmers get half the money for their crops compared to farmers from Hindu majority states. The crisis in Punjab is a result of Indian rule, something you wish to live under despite it's proclaimed war against Sikhi. In this war for sovereingty your position is obviously with the nemy, which is the downfall of the Sikh nation, too many traitors such as you Cheema.

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

wow mann_kaum_layee_qurbaan, ur post is just wow ....a smack in the face :e:

no the Indian government limits the numbers of sikhs that can visit Pakistan becuase they say a lot of Khalistan discussion and activites occur in Pakistan Gurdwaras, the Indian government just allowed am extra number of people to visit the last year and many people were delighted, but this is a sign of slavery, not even free to visit our gurdwaras.

http://in.news.yahoo.com/030612/139/252gf.html

"Jammu, June 12 (ANI): A ten-member team of Sikh pilgrims from Jammu left for Pakistan on Thursday to visit religious shrines following the slight easing of tensions between the two countries.

The team is also expected to participate in the martyrdom anniversary of one of their leaders to be held on June 16. The pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Sacha Sahib and Gurdwara Dera Sahib, some of the famous Sikh shrines in Pakistan.

The pilgrims, who offered prayers at a Sikh shrine before leaving, said they would pray for peace and normalisation of relations between the two neighbours.

"Today we are going to our religious place in Pakistan. It is no more a part of our nation. We are going to visit Nankanasaheb and Panjasaheb (holy sikh shrines). We are going to offer our prayers. We will pray that the the tension between different communities and all the border squabbles must come to an end. The entire humanity should live peacefully," said Rajinder Singh, a pilgrim.

Most of them were of the view that the government should have allowed more pilgrims for the journey.

"For long we wanted to visit the place, but the government was not p

ermitting. Now we have got the permission, but only ten of us have got the opportunity to go. Somebody please tell the government that it is a blow that out of the entire community only ten of them have got the visa. It is sad," said Satwant Kaur, an elderly pilgrim.

More than 400 persons had applied for a visit to Pakistan this year, but only ten of them were granted permission. Pilgrims like Virender Kaur were elated.

"I am very happy that I am going. I would offer my obeisance to our god and it is almost like a new birth for me," said Kaur.

Every year, thousands of Sikh pilgrims from across the world congregate in Pakistan to participate in the birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev, founder of the Sikh religion.

Last year only 50 Sikhs from India made a token visit to Pakistan.

A few thousand followers of the Sikh religion are living in Pakistan but the majority of them migrated to India after the partition in 1947.(ANI ")

May GOD bless Sikhs with a happy Khalistan ,

It’s the wish of every sikh.

But presently am looking forward to do something for PUNJAB

, am not interested only in posting comments on website.I want to plan something in near future. So I will try to find or create a similar forums website for PUNJAB youth , so that the Punjab youth may come to the forums and share thoughts. I think all Punjabi youth needs a common place where we can decide our future strategies.

I think ,I should not disrespect your sikhi thoughts, so will look for som other website where sikh youth share their thoughts for present PUNJAB.

Actually this site not works in Punjab , I donn know why otherwise we should also share our thoughts with u ,as I wish all sikh youth share their thoughts at a same place ,

I will end by saying ,do whatever but it should be to promote Sikhism ,donn only post replies on website .

SAT SHRI AKAAL.

    • Definitely the Guru Sahibs would be a heavier Scriptures to handle. Dasam Granth is more towards Bir Rass, Guru Gobind Singh showed his Greatness (of course, they would never say this) by separating his own Baania.  And the BIGGEST test of all?? Do we try and read Dasam Granth, Understand n show respect like we do to SGGS? Or... Do we QUESTION it? Guru Gobind Singh Ji is testing us.
    • My wife will be going for an MRI scan next week but her Kara won’t physically come off.  Is there any way the mri scan can be done with the Kara still on?  The alternative is we will have to try to saw it off before the scan.
    • was researching this and came back to this thread. Also found an older thread:
    • Net pay after taxes. If you don't agree, think about this: If you were a trader and started off in China with silk that cost 100 rupees and came to India, and you had to pay total 800 rupees taxes at every small kingdom along the way, and then sold your goods for 1000 rupees, you'd have 100 rupees left, right? If your daswandh is on the gross, that's 100 rupees, meaning you have nothing left. Obviously, you owe only 10% of 100, not 10% of 1000. No, it's 10% before bills and other expenses. These expenses are not your expenses to earn money. They are consumption. If you are a business owner, you take out all expenses, including rent, shop electricity, cost of goods sold, advertising, and government taxes. Whatever is left is your profit and you owe 10% of that.  If you are an employee, you are also entitled to deduct the cost of earning money. That would be government taxes. Everything else is consumption.
    • No, bro, it's simply not true that no one talks about Simran. Where did you hear that? Swingdon? The entire Sikh world talks about doing Simran, whether it's Maskeen ji, Giani Pinderpal Singh, Giani Kulwant Singh Jawaddi, or Sants. So what are you talking about? Agreed. Agreed. Well, if every bani were exactly the same, then why would Guru ji even write anything after writing Japji Sahib? We should all enjoy all the banis. No, Gurbani tells you to do Simran, but it's not just "the manual". Gurbani itself also has cleansing powers. I'm not saying not to do Simran. Do it. But Gurbani is not merely "the manual". Reading and singing Gurbani is spiritually helpful: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖਿਆ ॥  ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਪੜਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੈ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The Lord's Bani and the words are the best utterances. Ever sing hear and recite them, O brother and the Perfect Guru shall save thee. Pause. p611 Here Guru ji shows the importance of both Bani and Naam: ਆਇਓ ਸੁਨਨ ਪੜਨ ਕਉ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਲਗਹਿ ਅਨ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The mortal has come to hear and utter Bani. Forgetting the Name thou attached thyself to other desires. Vain is thy life, O mortal. Pause. p1219 Are there any house manuals that say to read and sing the house manual?
