2 Sikh Men Jailed For Attack On White Man

Recommended Posts

how u know they sikhs?

man even r own ppl cant tell the difference between punjabi and sikh...well actually thats a common trend amounst "our own"

This seems to the answer to all our problems nowadays...ok not specifically to this case but about sikh girls converting as well, they're not Sikh.

Well if the punjabi girls aren't Sikh why do we all get offended when the girl converts, if they're not Sikh that it.

it seems this quote is our 'get out of jail card' when Sikhs face any issue....i say not quite

This comment is exactly whats pushing monay away from Sikhi...stop judging and lets for once admit, that we as a community have issues that need to be tackled

(appologies for going off the topic and its kind of not relevant to the topic in question, its just this comment everyone seems to use nowadays)

couple of druggies used 2 go 2 my high school about 3/4 years ago

lol...wat does that gotta do with this...every dam school got druggies

I just wonder what did these guys go through to make them so angry that they smacked up a random gora?

I'm sure something is behind it. Sikhs don't usually do that sort of thing unless they have been messed around a lot?

Sikhs dont usually do that?....wat sikhs dude? call em 'punjabi'

and how cud u say that anyways....everyones different man.

Some how i am not suprised that "The Sun" a national paper published this article. So its of national intrest is it. What about all the goras who beat up asian and black. Dont recall many of them articles in the same tabloid.

Was it not the sun who went to India a while ago with a wod full of pound notes and offerd 1lak reward for the asian guy suspected of murdering the "white" girl in southampton.

So they went and brought the police and the public with there notes posters were dotted all over the punjab at the time.

What a allmighty shame that the same tabloid couldnt go to Afghanistain to offer a reward for Bin laden!!! Surely he is wanted for far more serious crimes than these people. But they lost there bottle there cos they knew the afghans wud kick there White A**

However i do not accept what these guys did at all its just that the sun seem to want to play the race card most of the time

Same old thing , we are going to argue whether to call them sikhs or not and not say a word about what they did. In situations like these, asians tend to lie low but this is the time when they should be asking for harsher sentences for their own when they are involved in racially motivated attacks.

its not weather they sikhs or not...but r they acting within the sikhi way?

ppl got problems with not being able to differ sikhs and punjabis

like today in sociology class...we were talking about caste system:

my teacher asked "doesnt sikhism also have a caste system?"

im like naa...mayb ur getting the sikh religion and the punjabi culture mixed up. theres a difference.

ppl need to know to Differentiate the two or else every punjabi is now automatically sikh

u get my point there bro.

b open minded

peace

Yeah, try telling that to the VAST MAJORITY of Sikhs, including the ones who have taken amrit. Reality on the ground is that Sikhs DO (sadly) have a caste system at present. It usually lays low until marriage time!

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
