I would be against places such as boarding schoold, but for slightly older generatio, guys only, I would say that jathas such as nihuang dals/taksals are a great way and I hope to send my children there for a while if they are willing to, after they complete normal education. It will obviously not be forced upon them but encouraged by myself and hope they grow closer to guru jee.

I know a kid who went there and he was quite clever! His parents were abroad and left him there and when he came here, he was around 12-13 maybe. I remember randomly asking once does anyone in here has Japji Sahib memorized and he blurted it out so quick! That inspired me to learn it as as well. It may be a different experience everyone

I have studied in Baru Sahib for only one year.

In my whole life the only time I remember crying is when I was in Baru Sahib.

Its not easy to live there.

I used to abuse my school.

But that doesnot make it a bad place.

Now I know it was a mistake leaving that place.

It is the best thing that has happened to me.

I know you cant force somebody to take amrit and do paath, but once he/she starts doing it they will love it.

Believe me,I live in a hostel and its not easy, but these things are meant to test your dedication, patience and love towards god.

I still feel bad for why I left that place.

I would have been a better Sikh, more Intelligent and possible living a better life.

Sat Siri Akal

Thank you all for your kind words

Amaraj Singh is going onto 5

i shall take him to Baru Sahib in the next month or so he will not pass the entry level exam after that date

Its ironic that the gurus sacrificed so much and i struggle to make a decision for the welfare and eduction of my youngest son.

Thanky you all again

Ranjit Singh
